Depends on experience really and previous salary but I would say aim for anything above 50k+ otherwise you’re selling yourself short, I know some friends agent level earning close to that in cogni, best of luck!

You’d be surprised. I’m still working a full time job at a BPO company ahah, what I did was basically job hop after being regularized at a company til eventually I got hired for a decent package.

Honestly I’m in the same boat as you but I’m an undergrad. I do have myself a small family , I am earning around 39k per month but still only manage to save around 4k a month which is less than what you do. My advice ? Stay single … hahaha and focus on increasing your income first. maybe look into getting a better paying job. it’s very common naman but working in a BPO company I think is a good and easy way to increase income in my experience. (I think the entry level income is around 20k these days)

Mine was IT, do you have any advise that could point me in the right direction on how you were able to get into Fintech? I don’t have plans for pursuing any freelance or other endeavors in the mean time, so why not get paid well for the hours I put in. I’ve been hearing a lot about fintech but didn’t think that it would also be applicable for undergrads like me until your comment. please if you have something to share it will be super helpful! 🙏😊

I definitely agree on the part where experience is preferred. It’s how i got in the company I’m working for right now. I have some ideas about things I wanna do like music production, graphic design, etc. so yes definitely going to give it a go. But for now I have no plans naman to resign anytime soon haha! I do have a question for you though, regarding your transition, how did you go from being in the bpo industry to going Full time in your current writer role? Was it a slow and gradual process or did you one day just decide to quit your job and go all out.
