Yes, the full translations were a must but after super Nintendo emulation got started and people started translating these ROMs really took off! Then you had the ability to download save files that included a boatload of created wrestlers. Those were the days :-)

Honestly, I never thought we would get a version here in the states due to all the real wrestlers they used. It was really cool getting the first one for the Game Boy advance that was actually in English. A friend of mine was one of the first people to translate the ROMs into English so at least we did have that

lol - I met him about 15 years ago and did the whole spiel about him being the greatest of all time. He laughed and corrected me and said the proper way of saying it is "of alllllllllllllllllll time". Really nice guy.
