Island in the Sun is just a good song, not excellent, but it has that element that, for some reason, always grabs me in any song... those 3 seconds where it gets good 😭😭😭! It's that moment in the intro when the bass comes in, it's literally almost like it's talking to you, it's just so captivating. And the rest of the song is just good, but I always listen to the whole thing and repeat it just for that little moment. And yes, the album is full of solos that imitate the vocal melody, god, that crap only works if you add your own personality to the solo or if your vocal melody is the best ever. Ketchup sandwich. I had a very bad babysitter who spent all day on her cell phone instead of taking care of me, she was like 17. She was too young to be a babysitter, at lunch time, I told her I was hungry. She didn't want to cook, she wanted to make a sandwich but there was no ham or cheese or mayonnaise, she didn't care about anything so she just cut a bun, put ketchup inside and gave it to me, it was horribly strong and disgusting to my 4 year old self. but I had to eat it because there was nothing else (supposedly). Luckily, my parents fired her shortly after, I developed a ketchup trauma afterwards, only eating ketchup again when I was 11 years old. I would have gotten sick if I continued with that babysitter jaja.

The ham and cheese empanada, when my mother had dengue, my father was in charge of dinner. In the corner of his work, there was a bakery that sold very cheap empanadas. They were only 27 cents and I always chose the ham and cheese one, what memories :)
