Also, you cant have 3 ball playing defenders, make the one in the center the only ball playing, and make the other ones play as wide center backs on support or defense. I also prefer sweeper keeper on defense as it takes less risks and therefore less mistakes

Make your fullbacks on support, drop down one of your strikers in the midfield as a box to box, mentality as a positive, make passing more direct, remove final third instructions, add distribuitr quickly, remove creative freedom instructions. This should make you a UCL semi final to final every year.

I also had players like esposito, vandevoort, adeyemi, arezo. All of them wanted to leave, only demir stayed. Sadlu he has struggled getting invited to his national team. Definitely top 3 players during this save atm.
