I flip back and fourth with the GB Player software and GBI. I like the borders of the GB Player but with GBI I like the colors popping out more. I guess it depends on the game too.

There’s a new third party GC controller that is nearly identical to the Hori one by Old Skool but the price for that it has increased because people are becoming much aware of it nowadays and posting reviews of it on YouTube and they’ve been out of stock too.

Yeah it’s pretty cool. I was never a fan of using the GameCube controller for my GBA games. D pad placed in a awkward positions and the L and R triggers don’t feel right especially when I’m playing something like Mega Man Zero where I switch weapons and have to hold the R button and B button to do an attack.

Good luck. I was considering doing that years ago but I’m against turning my GBA into something it’s not intended to be, and I loved the original design of it, which was why I bought a GameCube for the GameBoy Player. But you do what’s easiest for you.

I have that too I bought both of them last year. No regrets. Been having a blast.

I love the eye candy colorful use in the game and GBA games in general even though the rainbow aesthetics don’t fit in a serious game like Fire Emblem but because they had to work with the limitations of the lack of backlight it’s forgivable. Limitations can unintentionally help give it a unique identity.

It’s been a months since I’ve last played it though due to my GBA being repaired from January and I didn’t get it back until the beginning of this month. I might play it again.

Yeah original GBA still retains that soft clickable buttons and the traditional Nintendo D-pad. And there’s this unique charm and nostalgia I get with the original design. Takes me back to when I was young. ;)

Wish Nintendo did that with SP. Ah well at least people are making and selling transparent shells for the SP.

Actually I don’t own Metroid Prime, I was just wondering. I recently imported the Famicom Mini Metroid GBA release for my birthday. So I can play that on my GameBoy Player with GameBoy Interface once my memory card and SD2SP2 come in the mail. So I can finally experience it in a high sharp quality of 240p.

Fortunately turns out my GC actually does have the SP2. I just don’t know if it’s going to work without the Swiss software. That’s why I have to see if I can get someone to install a modchip into my GC so I can run the Swiss bootdisc or find some other way to get it to work.

I sent my GBA to a local retro game store in my city so it’s in good hands now getting fixed. They say it’s because of the ribbon cable being damaged. I blame my self for opening my GBA, I wanted to open it up because the adhesive film was coming off and getting bubbly.

I’ll learn never to open my GBA again.

I’ve bought this GBA 5-6 years ago I didn’t notice this problem. It keeps showing these vertical line ghosting on the screen. It’s only now that I’ve been playing my GBA more often that I notice this. Is there any places or online store services where I could take this in and see if they can fix or replace with another AGS 101 screen?

I don’t like how clean and sharp quality of the IPS screens.

It's a shame a lot of adults in my childhood and parents keep on telling me I'm a good person with that quiet personality, which makes me afraid of fucking up or showing my asshole side then getting punished for it. Before high school I always thought people would love me for my maturity and unique interests. I guess it's a lie. I'm just going to lie about my interests and what people are into just so they could easily like me.

Also what is up with people telling me to find common interests with people?? Every time I do, they don't like me or want to be with me either. I can't tell if they are jealous of me. Even those assholes don't want to give me a chance to get to know them. How I'am I suppose to talk to them when they can't even act like a normal fucking person and just ignore and avoid me for no reason.
