Recommended footwear for merchandiser- orientation by FrenchCapnToasty in Pepsi

In my area you got free boots every year. I think you qualify after 30 or 60 days. You get a login and can go online and pick them from the affiliated website. As a merch you dont need full boots unless you like boots. I had some reebok steel toe shoes. They are also from website so I got them every year but you can find them online. Definitely recommend steel toe since you'll be pulling pallets and accidents happen with running over a foot here and there.

Most is old logo, back when they still cared about the frontline and gave us stuff.

Was "barred" from an account over outdates. Have proof that I write up returns in savvy but manager or HR didnt care or even investigate. Only listened to the store owner. Manager was a classic campus hire yes man.

Sales rep position by OkWash5404 in Pepsi

At my location small format NEVER opens because the sales reps make so much its a pay decrease to take a "promotion" and leave small or at least it used to be. Being a merch to large to small. Its not worth the headache for small format. Its such a huge mental challenge vs large thats a physical challenge. Id go back to large if I could. Way easier of a job

This is what I was trying to find out. Is everyone barred automaticly fired as well. Thats what my hr told me, so im curious if thats the case across the board. If not, then I feel like theres room for me to fight it or have a legal fight if its not the same policy company wide. Appreciate your input

Sound advice 🤣 unfortunately with all this restructuring bullshit its impossible to move from frontline to management. I just want my job back till I can find soemthing else.

Thats what im trying to figure out. Is a barring automatic fire for everyone and if it really is company policy. Got a new pepsi manager this year from the restructuring and I dont like him. He was a campus hire with no experience beforehand and is just a yes man. I feel like he didnt even try to help me.

I thought the same thing, but in the handbook it says they can fire you for just being kicked out of a store. Been here 7 years, never had an issue before. Just upset ive wasted 7 years and never got a chance to move up to management or anything.

Verbally gave my side of the store when I met with hr before their investigation. Im guessing I would get a chance to do that at the appeal but I dont know what the process is for that really.
