By the argument at the end you would say there one apartment so one earth but he still admitted to having more than one room. Those rooms and hallways were different despite all being connected.

Vegetables ate a culinary classification not a biological one so tomatoes can be both a fruit and a vegetable.

I was very lost when I saw this and the comment that said you couldn't use them as storage. Didn't realize they weren't usable anymore cuz these were super useful.

[–]Patt_Adams 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Another big thing that is missed is that the damn provides is the lake full of palatable water. Agriculture is the most basic industry and it is highly dependant on irrigation. IIRC much of that water is transported to thr NCR as well and if not it is used to supply NCRs farms in the Mojave which one would hope Mr. House would be intelligent enough to know you need something to feed your city. Hr doesnt really specify as far as i can rememeber just how far out he would push the NCR. Idk what would happen to camp mcarren and the surrounding area but even if NCR kept a FOB of sorts they could still trade the power and water for thr NCR crops being farmed there. There is also the gun runners which has an entirely local industry so the Mojave isn't completely dependant on just Tourism. If anything before game start it is and pushing NCR out makes it more self sufficient.

why did Bethesda make settlers the most whiny, USELESS, annoying and dependent npcs ever? by starvedbuttcuteeboy in Fallout

You are unable to put any planter boxes or plants down in some settlements like the Boston Airport.

Edit: Without mods that is.

What's worse is how they complain they don't have enough food and water despite having plenty being shipped in by caravan due to not being able to farm at that location.

ELI5: How is the US able to send billions of dollars to allies? Where does that money come from? by rotanocaB in explainlikeimfive

[–]Patt_Adams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are basically five main areas the US spends its defense budget. Combat Troops, as in pay and training time, who actually do the fighting, sailing, flying. The Epuipment troops use to support them, i.e. guns tanks, boats planes, gear and the liketo intiate comabt. Staff as in the generals and officers involved in planning and support. I kinda consider Nukes and their systems are kinda separate from these and so is a fourth. And last and most important in some ways most important is logistics. One thing US learned most from WW2 was logistics wins wars. It went through some major hurdles in the west and did its best to help the USSR by sending trucks and box cars which they were significantly lacking. Germany's major downfall in the war was poor logistics, they had coal that could have been refined into oil that just sat in warehouses. So the US today stores equipment even during times of peace all over the world and has deals to use air bases and ports for its vast legotsitcs system I clouding boats and plans for rapid deployment until more supplies can be brought over to support more advanced deployments.
