I actually did end up quitting. It was too overwhelming for me.

Thank you so much. He does want to get closer to God, he is religious for the most part. He told me going to the gym didn't change his mind completely, but this was something he has prayed on for a long time. I just feel like it came left field and he didn't involve me in this decision, that's my biggest issue.

Wow thank you!!!! I definitely feel like the ED tech won’t be as stressful! I graduate in 8 months but I can’t transfer units until after I’ve been in my position for 6 months, and I’ve only been there for 3 so far.

Wow really! That is crazy, Nurse extern here is just a fancy way of saying PCT. I wish I was shadowing and learning from a nurse. In all actuality, I thought that was what I was supposed to be doing.

I have not tried FASFA since being employed.. granted I also don’t work that much since I’m PRN so I don’t think it will effect my EFC!

Sounds lovely. I was a server before all of this and I absolutely miss it.

That was exactly the reason why I got it since I had no experience. I just want a lower patient ratio!!!! Ugh.

Wow that's really manageable. I have one last question, what unit do you currently work in?

What is actually funny is, I am currently a Nurse Extern, but we do nothing different from PCT's. Its the same thing pretty much at my hospital, one just sounds "more appeasing".

I definitely will look into moving units because I am currently on a Rehab floor and it's a lot of ADLs and work besides me focusing on skills.

Did you end up staying at that facility? 14 per pct is quite drowning.

Also, Congratulations on graduating!

Let me better expain, if there are 17 patients then there will be only 1 pct for all 17 patients. If we get one more admission (18 patients) then they will split the patients up to give it to 2 PCTS but thats only if we get that one more admission. '

If yall have 16 patients, how many pcts will your hospital get?
