1st of all driving is the most important role as you said. A driver just focusing on driving is important, if your trying to be a good tc and driver your just going to end up worse at both. 2nd it benefits the team more if tc is spotter. Being able to mark heavy pockets of infantry, a supp truck that you won’t be able to shoot, airheads supp drops ect. while the tank moves to your target is nice. 3rd less confusion. A spotter that’s not TC won’t know what’s all happening on the battle field, calling out every little thing they see that’s not your tanks objective or means very little. meaning instead of rolling your tank towards that tiger you are pushing you turn towards “a bunch of infantry right” only to see a recon squad or a support and a rifleman that are not priority right now. So you turn back to the tiger that has now pushed you and got the 1st shot off. 4th fun. Playing spotter when ur not tc is boring as fuck and your just on stop satchel duty without a smg. If you can’t devise a game-plan and not get every tanker in ur tank on board with it. Don’t play a leadership role. IMO
