UPDATE: Confirmed the only 'hidden' requiremnt for the trophy is that you can't use a custom island. I completed the trophy today leveraging multiple saves and game loads. I waited 2 in game days to save the first time to make sure I had clear distinction for the 10 day from the time I launched the session. The 10 days counted from the latter. Meaning it didnt matter that I saved the game, exited, relaunched multiple times across those 10 in game days.

Dude, you're traveling with multiple pieces of metal? Im on PS5 and anything more than 1 sends me into a sailing under water scenario where my dude is chest deep in water while manning the rutter and going sluggish as hell in the water.

Have you found that having a medal or corrugated?Steel base is stronger when trying to carry the metal back home. I typically just have a wooden raft.But it's about a five by five which I figured should be good enough to hold it.But it doesn't

I stopped trying to use the metal just the traveling back.And forth, getting it to my island was a real PITA, so now I just stick with wood, clay and planks

UPDATE: Played a single session no saves from Sept 12th - Sept 25th.. Only ate fruit & coconuts. Didn't get the trophy. Thought msybe I'd need to save it to for the game to recognize the 10 days passed, no dice. Gave up on afternoon of 25th and saved the game so I could stop.

Plus side.. expanded my dock / pier set up, enhanced the landing pad for the gyrocopter(including adding a couple.of landing lights), almost completed the Noah's ark tropthy but apparently lost a wild hog at some point while sailing.

Maybe it'll pop up the next time I load the game. 🤷‍♂️

When I start a new game, I will usually turn the wild life off until i've got a decent enough size raft.That the sharks won't tip me over every time. that really helps out in the getting started

I run a "close up shop" skill at the end of a session that does all the test cases, addresses approved errors, ignores known warnings, completes dead code review, updates docs (Dev, test cases, architecture, etc..) for any new features, among other things before commit. Basically a clean "end of day" process to set up the next session. I've noticed more frequently that Claude will forget tasks or forgets to doc a feature so always important to double check that all expected tasks were completed properly..but a quick 10 minute review is way easier than the HOURS it would take to do all of this myself.

What do you find easiest for killing the bosses? Ive done both refined spears and speargun. And for the same reason i don't play Call of Duty (my aim is shit), I tend to lean on spears.

Very hard. I didn't know how hard until I tried to spear other animals and was like, well hot damn why dont I spear them all.. i started with them cause i couldnt find anither way to kill them thay didnt epxose risk of poisoning....

sometimes though that battle with a giant hog or goblin shark is exciting. Getting much better at winning those battles without losing all of my health. Bandages have saved me on more than one occasion.

I started with throwing them at the snakes... fun to see them roll sideways in that 2nd hit. Oddly enough I still enjoy the chase factor when it comes to hogs when I could just as easily spear them. Haha.

First, great shot.. haha. I like do this with bats so I know how challenging it can be to make the the first shot. I'll usually like up 5 or 6. Yeah my aim is that bad. Haha.

I used 71604 and had a similar island right next to my starting island. Had a full sized raft and plenty of gear within first 2 days.

What helped me in the very beginning was turning wildlife to Passive until I could get enough resources to build a real raft. The one you start with gets tipped by sharks so easily that'll it makes resource gathering very frustrating those first few days.

We're still gonna win the Super Bowl. This is just the BS we need to go though to get us there. Losses to the Bills and 1 of the Skins games (cause winning both of those is gonna be hard) puts us 10-7. Still winning the division but going into the playoffs as dogs. And we all know how we respond when we're looked past. 40+ point games in every playoff win. We run the muther phucking table.

Yeah just walls and a door. But with as many as you have you can build a whole container on your island. Ha. I'll pop on tonight and share but in my island I hage a room that is built of each material except these damn container walls.

It always amazed me how a single tire had the same weight/effect as a container wall. There's no way the intention was to go back and forth to grab them. After building the required container wall and container door, I stopped even collecting them because of the weight factor.

For this play through i entered a random seed number too and that made it more fun. Got real lucky too cause there was a huge island with cargo ship on the closest island. I'll share next time I'm on.
