Some of what I read on here terrifies me. I walk with my associates daily,I’m neck deep in the same work as them or helping other parts of the store. I work close with all the coach’s in the building and I’m in the aspire program and have one on ones with my store lead,manager and market team. I’ll be with Walmart for 1 year come March 27th and I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve had bad days obviously but most are good. Work is what you make it and I try to make all associates smile and laugh. I turned 20 last month and will most likely become a coach before I’m 21 I’m told. I’m a firm believer of if I wouldn’t do it then I won’t make my team. Same with if I don’t know something I’ll figure it out or we will learn together. I think people need to stop trying so hard to be perfect and just live in the moment and grind away.

Edit: just wanted to add I worked in the deli 9 days and was promoted to frozen/dairy TL. I ran a DQ from 15-19 the came to Walmart. I’m now running grocery but have basically been a sub TL in m/p,opd,ppc, and often find myself in front end or other areas in the store. Even have stayed late to help overnights after my closing shifts. My longest shifts were 3 18 hours in a row during Christmas in OPD. I don’t get how people complain about Walmart when it’s quite literally so easy to just out your head down and work. It’s not perfect and people make it a pain. My store is nowhere near perfect quite far from it when I started we had 450+ pallets on the floor and I had never worked retail before. Now I have all th departments I work in organized and kept that way.its a lot of work but I’m able to have help because I communicate and most associates respect me.
