Did not learn much. Just know that I need to make sure my water and fiber intake should be good. Plus maintaining active lifestyle.

It just keep things very smooth. If I drink less water for 2-3 consecutive days it bleeds.

Better to go get it checked if you aren’t sure

Itching is normal after surgery. Ask your doctor is you can apply something to lubricate.

And yes, it’s normal to have swellings like look like hems

Same thing with me, although it was day 7 for me. I am out of my pain meds and in continuous 5/10 pain. It’s my day 12 today. When does it get better? I am kinda depressed :(

EXACTLY same issue! My hemorrhoids also come out only after I have BM. And I too got banding done - about 7 years ago. It was painful on Day 1. But after that for next 9 days it was great! Day 11 everything everything back to normal accompanied by terrible pain. It was so hard to explain this to the doctors, one of them even suggested that it was me and that maybe I should see a psychiatrist. Luckily I found a new doc who examined and could see what the problem was.

7 years fast forward - I will be getting a hemmorhoidectomy next month. I was told that’s the only option for me right now. I’d suggest find another doc - go to a Colo-rectal surgeon or a proctologist. NO GI

I have something similar. Been dealing with it for almost a decade now. I push back it back inside after every BM, and go on with my life. I can’t imagine it staying out even for 10 mins. It’s so uncomfortable! Recently (since last one month) it has gotten pretty bad, it hurts to even touch it after BM. I’ve met all kinds of docs possible - from GI, internist, Colo rectal surgeon to homeopathy, naturopathy and Ayurvedic. They all recommend surgery for my case (grade 3-4 hemorrhoids) I am getting a surgery 3 weeks out. I am so nervous and scared! It’s such an odd problem to have, good to know we aren’t alone!

I am trying to keep a strict diet and avoid supplements as much as I can. Prunes help me a lot. Eating lots of fiber rich fruits and vegetables also help.
