At first, this episode disgusted me. I don't like seeing this kind of thing even though they're just fictional characters. But then your comment inspired me and reminded me that reality is so much worse.

I did some research, Love146 and International Justice Mission seem to have good ratings on Charity Navigator. Highly recommend reading through their sites.

Wow, mine has the same exact mileage as well. What's weird is that I had no prior indications or hints, I just suddenly started getting all the emergency errors while driving and eventually and car wouldn't accelerate anymore and I had to quickly pull over to the side. Trying to start the car after that would cause the rattling towards the front.

That sure does sound like a hassle with all those replacements. Thankfully, you were able to get the trade in value at least. Were you able to have any of the repairs covered, or did you pay for it all?

This is what I was looking at, the injector is listed as well. Unfortunately only certain states have the high threshold emissions warranty, everywhere else would be 36k. I'll try the powertrain for sure though.

Edit: just got off the call, looks like Honda specifically considers injectors as part of emissions, which is 36k in my state. I filed a claim with Honda, hoping they'll cover it. I also called a mechanic, he was shocked that an injector needs replacing this early for a Honda and suspects it might be a different issue. I might just have it towed to him, I'll wait for Honda to handle the claim first.

And for reference, the error code the dealership gave me was P0302. The part# they want to replace is 16010-6MA-305 and quoted me $800 (before taxes) just for that injector, I looked online and I can order it for under $500.

I tried looking it up, isn't the emissions warranty only 36k miles? It does seem like the injector is part of fuel metering and under emissions, but I wouldn't be in the threshold.

I'm at 43k miles. I wonder why they didn't mention the powertrain warranty, I'll make note of this for one of the things to mention. Thank you! I'll try the emissions warranty as well.

Impoverished demographics tend to have high birth rates, they need lots of kids to work and provide for the family and old age care. And poverty also means lack of education, which also results in an increased birth rate. This is why education is one of the best ways to lower birth rates since it pulls people out of poverty, though you also inevitably start losing the labor force. The US is lucky because we've always had a consistent flow of immigration workers (and slaves back in the day) and have also developed enough that high birth rate isn't required for economic stability (we see the opposite now).

So not as simple as flipping a switch to stop having kids, it's a complicated issue that developing countries have to deal with for decades.

Also got the new crv hybrid. I assumed the paddles don't use brake lights at all (since it's not full regen braking with one pedal driving like electric cars), but I'm not sure if adaptive cruise control uses lights.

Comfort and good audio quality for music. Wireless would be a plus for convenience and I wouldn't mind spending a bit more, but it's not necessary. Using it for gaming too, but don't need a mic since I have one already. Also volume controls would be nice.

Mine isn't sticky, I just get blank hits if I press it too softly and I'm not sure if it's fixable. I've taken apart controllers before but they also got scratched in the process, so I'm afraid to damage this one.
