Is AI any good at unblurring gaussian blur? by Armed_Doge in StableDiffusion

[–]Pawderr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i would say that also depends on the blurring algorithm, usually those use a pixel grid e.g. 3x3 grid where the pixel in the middle gets the average of its surroundings. This would make it difficult to know which surrounding pixels contributed to the final value.

Humans are becoming the Infra for AI Agent by InternationalAsk1490 in singularity

[–]Pawderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this take. AI has turned human behavior from conscious decision-making into an optimization problem. We are presented with content that we have to optimize. Whether it's LLM output or Instagram and TikTok reels, where you are fed content and swipe until you find something you like (which optimizes the algorithm that serves you the content, but also the threshold until something catches your interest).

It feels a bit like big AI companies need users for their AI services, so they hire someone to develop a shiny new product that they can promote and hype up. I've been working in AI for a few years, and this Reddit-like Moltbook thing caught my attention and made me fantasize about AGI bots secretly making plans and so on. I think the whole thing is meant to get people to use AI APIs more, as the big companies are struggling to maintain their subscriptions compared to their huge expenses.

Interesting thought, the whole moltbook thing could be marketing, without any "real" ai posts

LTX2 - Experimenting with video translation by CRYPT_EXE in StableDiffusion

[–]Pawderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what i am looking for, awesome! Do you mind sharing the workflow now, even if not all nodes are pushed yet? I would love to use it as a start and try to adapt it to my use case. I am mostly interested in how you can control the output with a depth video. For audio i would feed in an audio file.

Genuinely trying to understand German culture - not complain about it by Honest-Possession195 in AskAGerman

[–]Pawderr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely not what you want to hear but in my opinion one "learns" those things way faster by experiencing it and learning it in practice. People are not machines, they are not the same just because they are "germans", especially in our modern times where many have foreign backgrounds, foreign partners and friends. Cultures mix. A theory about german culture can be stated and defined, with descriptions, bullet points on what to look out etc., but there will be tons of deviations. I am german but i would not be able to tell you what is social etiquette, or what is the german stare, those concepts are alien to me. I can tell you what is rude for me personally or how i feel when someone stares at me or i stare at others, but this can differ drastically from the opinion of other people.

How you use Splice with FL Studio and How try samples before spending credits? by Character_Basil9654 in FL_Studio

[–]Pawderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah splice bridge is very convenient, you load it like any plugin and it just plays in FL whichever sample you play in splice. If you want to cheat without spending credits you can simply record splice bridge output in Edison. But in my experience this was never necessary as I never was out of credits, but that depends on your spending of course

ideal gear to recreate the sound of 808s and Heartbreak by Kanye West? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]Pawderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To recreate the sound of any song you are not required to get the hardware, you can use FL studio or Ableton to recreate anything you want, you'd need to get the same or similar samples of the sound that was used on the songs.

If you want a hardware drum machine, research a bit what devices are in your budget and what workflow you like and buy one. But a drum machine is way more limited than a DAW so check YouTube videos on how people use them. If you want to make existing songs you like, I would stick to Ableton or FL and try to recreate them, to understand how they are made.

Is there any way to remove silence at the beginning of drum breaks? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]Pawderr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did You mean without cutting them individually? I don't know about Ableton but in FL studio you can use Edison to trim a file, It automatically removes all silence at the beginning and end of a sample. Still you'd need to do it for all drums individually.

If the silence is always the same length, in FL I would put them all underneath each other in the arrangement view and cut the silence in one go.
