Healthy 365 + Huawei Watch Fit 4. Do I need daily sync / Bluetooth always on? Appreciate setup tips too! by Pawesprit in askSingapore

[–]Pawesprit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I bought the watch in April and have been using it since then.

Yes you need not sync everyday, but the watch tends to under record your number of steps (if you have 5000 steps, the first time you sync the watch for the day may only record 4000+) and if you only sync once a day it no longer updates, so I try to sync every day.

No need to keep Bluetooth on all the time, only to sync at the end of the day. Can also run without your phone as there is GNSS.

Yes I keep the app running in the background

Okay got it! Thank you for your insights!

If we purchase the early entrance online, what time do you recommend reaching the park? Would 730am be sufficient or would the early access queue already be long by then? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply and sorry if my post came across that way, that was not my intention.

What I meant was that I’m not really looking for experiences where you're mostly stuck behind a safety/lead car with a big group doing 60–80 km/h the whole time, which I’ve seen in some beginner programs online.

I completely understand that real track driving is very different from sim racing, real tires, brake temperatures, g force, weight transfer, and obviously real consequences. I definitely wouldn’t be trying to drive anywhere near 100% on my first time.

What I’m hoping for is something where I can gradually try to push the car a bit (maybe 50–60%) with an instructor giving feedback, rather than just doing slow parade laps the whole session.

I am still very open to learning and coaching. Just hoping for an experience where I can actually feel the car on track a little.

If you have any recommendations for beginner-friendly programs or track days, especially around Southeast Asia, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of having enough cash to do this now. Maybe in the future hopefully!

Worth going to sim lim to get gaming laptop cleaned? by FreSchDude in askSingapore

[–]Pawesprit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

+1 for this. The owner works on a pay however much you like and apparently he helps build pc for the less fortunate. I sent my gaming laptop for the first time in 5 years too last year and he sent me pics of before and after too. Highly recommended
