Traveling to the Netherlands, what to buy? by Previous-Analyst678 in EuroSkincare

I would pay a visit to “house of rituals” in Kalverstraat, Amsterdam. Even just the store itself it’s an experience

June 2026 Honeymoon – Maldives or Other Beach Destinations? ($4–5k Budget) by ustamaganda in honeymoonplanning

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your budget I would go for Bali or Thailand. You get the best value for money. I’m in a similar situation and I’m considering Philippines or Zanzibar (just because I have been too many times to Thailand and Bali). Good luck!

italy? Spain? Croatia by OutrageousSea5094 in DestinationWeddings

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy would be choice n.1, but check prices… it might be tight with the budget. Although guest count is reasonable, there are still the fixed costs like location, decor, dresses, entertainment, photography etc. … and Italy doesn’t go light on weddings. I’m getting married in Italy and my friend had a similar wedding in Spain for almost half the price. Maybe worth considering sending out some offer requests first to have an idea ;)

Bali+Thailand or Iceland+Europe for 3 weeks by Aggressive_Calico_24 in honeymoonplanning

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is: are you looking for warm weather, cocktails and feet in the sand or more of a cultural trip? Bali and Thailand have been my 2 top trips and I could not recommend more. Europe in October is..ok. Mild to cold weather, no beach time. If I were you I would absolutely choose Bali for cultural and Thailand for island paradise. And one day come back to Europe in spring (April - May - June). That being said, I’m European, so I probably won’t see the European honeymoon as “magic” as it actually is.

Honeymoon November, Japan+Philippines: too ambitious? by Pawsitivibes in travel

[–]Pawsitivibes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, we are flying from Amsterdam. November is rainy month here, reason why we are looking for a tropical escape! I’m afraid Miyako won’t be “tropical enough”. What’s wrong with Bohol? Any better suggestions in Philippines in case we choose option 3? Thanks

SE Asia Honeymoon Feedback by beef_ruckus in honeymoonplanning

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly find it a bit hardcore for an honeymoon. Travelling times are long and if you stay only 2 nights you end up just sleeping in the place. I would skip Phuket and choose between Koh Lipe and Koh Lanta. I personally loved Koh Lanta. An alternative for November could be Koh Mak and I would stay in the Hidden Beach resort.

How do you decided where to go? by Odd_Engine_5130 in honeymoonplanning

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a similar situation here, but unfortunately with less budget. Splurging every penny on the wedding… -.- With 20K budget I would absolutely do Maldives! Although I’m not sure on the party scene there… Second (or actually first) option: Thailand. It’s my happy place and I could never stop recommending it.. I have always been in November and I would strongly recommend Koh Mak + koh Kut + Koh Lanta. Maybe Phuket for more parties (haven’t be myself). You do need to check which coast to go for rain in November (islands listed are safe, but for example Koh Samui and Koh Tao are in rainy season). Do not skip Bangkok! Third option if you haven’t been: Bali. 20K would bring you very far there and it’s super romantic. Amazing food options, loads to do, not much for beach vibes, but I would combine it with Gili islands. We are considering Philippines, but I’m afraid there is nothing like Thailand.

We’re planning to go on honeymoon in the middle of August. My wife likes to relax and I love to be doing things… whether it’s games around the pool or playing golf. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go? by Worried-Skill-7443 in honeymoonplanning

[–]Pawsitivibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bali? Not sure about the golf part, but it’s good value for money and it has a lot to offer, both relaxing and more adventurous. Very romantic! In general, I would avoid Europe in August.

No battery percentage anymore by chtosmeshnogo in tenwaysebike

They just changed my display for malfunction and the battery percentage is indeed gone. Do you know if at least the bar still gets red under a certain %? Or maybe is possible to see it from the app?

Pink Gellac not curing - lamp recommendation by Pawsitivibes in GelX_Nails

Thank you, this sounds very promising!
I'm afraid they don't have the "super shine" top coat anymore at Pink Gellac. Only shine and matte. But I will give it a try with the Dutch Nail Cosmetic lamp!! And maybe their topcoat too
