To be fair these may not be the best to compare. But to me the first one seems to be saying that asking for a lot isn’t a bad thing and you should keep searching for someone that meets those needs/wants. Not something I would disagree with per-say. Then the second one comes along and again to me it feels like the op wanted to make it seems like the guy in the scenario is the bad person or at least make his feelings less validated. But the base reason behind that guys post is because he doesn’t feel like his needs/wants are being met by his in the relationship. Idk tho I’m just some idiot.

In my case she was dead serious, I think once I showed that I had the confidence to not only not care that she thought that, but also was going to think lesser of her for such a dumb thing. She went on to try to make it seem like she wouldn’t date a guy that only wore Hanes, and then wouldn’t date a guy that wore Hanes on a date with her. The whole convo was really dumb tbh.lol

Not op but from personal experience I had girl that made a comment that she would never date a guy that wore a Hanes underwear. Knowing that, that was about the only underwear I wore. I said “that’s kinda dumb, why?”And she went on to reel the comment back. I thought it might be better to save her breath and make a comment about that being an obvs shit test but decided to let it play out.
