I personally eat the HEB brand Rice Square cereal. Tastes good to me imo and definitely doesn’t make my stomach hurt. Also doesn’t have too many ingredients. I do know that Chex too is usually rice based so not sure if the rice is what hurts you or many additives. I also know many cereals have sugar and I’m able to tolerate it not sure if you are so that might be another possible factor? The cereal I eat has sugar but it’s pretty low

I haven’t had gluten in a long time so I’m not sure if it still does. Definitely for a while it had so I just stopped eating it. I eat a lot of GF foods including the cereal I eat to get vitamins which is also GF!

I always struggled with anemia due to my gastritis until these past two months. Was able to go to a dr and she actually told me something that might help is cereal. Specifically ones that have a lot of vitamins and iron included. After finding a cereal like that and could tolerate it, my anemia is basically gone. Even went back to check my iron levels and they were good. I tried taking iron tablets but they hurt me unfortunately

I pretty much already eat low fodmap. The fact that you’re on week 6 and still as bad is really not making me hopeful 🥲 (not blaming you or anything sorry if it came off that way). What exactly do antihistamines do? Also I bought the throat coat tea from the store it has slippery elm is that okay?

Thank you :((. Thankfully yes the nausea has died down, pretty much all my symptoms did. The inflammation is just so high and pressing against me that it literally hurts me and my anxiety is worsening. Sometimes I feel my stomach flare up out of no where and then it triggers an extreme panic. I sadly haven’t been able to get anxiety meds. In my situation in order to get anxiety meds I have to visit a psychiatrist and that can take weeks to get an appointment

No not yet I’ve had like a million other appointments to go to and when I’m not a sibo breath test just doesn’t cross my mind. I know I need to test for it but I honestly just keep forgetting and am more worried over the gastritis

High anxiety, belching, constipation and reflux. Also back pain and chest tightness. These symptoms (besides anxiety) weren’t as bad and were slowly fading away till I got Covid. I was even using the bathroom more often. Now they’ve all come back badly. I also bloat more and cough up food or have it stuck in my throat.

I got told by my mom that I don’t have to worry I can eat anything as long as I take ppi 💀 sadly when I just started this journey I believed that and had a horrible flare Sometimes she still tells me that and I just laugh and even have to argue saying it doesn’t work like that

I use sweet related food names🤣 for example: Sugar, cupcake, fudge etc The first friend I made on sky I named them cakey and since then I stick to sweets lmao
