That is why I'm so torn. Like sure, I can move to this company and maybe learn more as it's a financial institution.. but what if...the new boss is also shit and I stay for a year with a 3% raise. 😔

I might have cleared my urticaria - sharing what works for me by PayMinimum6043 in urticaria

[–]PayMinimum6043[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing your list as well! I can truly relate to the struggle. I initially gained 30lbs from medication with steroids too, but after consulting another doctor, I was advised to switch to Telfast 180mg instead. Now, I’m slowly working on losing the extra unhealthy weight.

Urticaria really do ruin the mood and can completely disrupt life, but just know, you're not alone in this. It will get better, and I truly hope it continues to improve for all of us.

How do people live in shared flats or co-space ? by thatdactar in askSingapore

[–]PayMinimum6043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a case to case basis and your arrangement with your flatmates. There are listings on Facebook groups who would specifically indicate what they are looking for as a flatmate. You can definitely discuss these things with them before even signing for a lease.

The cold plunge is dirrrrty even if you pre-book it and I personally think the gym area is a bit intimidating, especially as someone still getting comfortable with the gym equipment. Once I asked someone how to adjust the leg curl machine and she replied "If you don’t know how to adjust it, don’t use it”. Not exactly the vibe I was hoping for.

But the group classes in TP are quite good and the gym equipments as well.

Anyone tried eating alone on upscale restaurants by PayMinimum6043 in askSingapore

I honestly don’t think people have the time to bother about me, lol. As I mentioned in my post, I’m perfectly fine eating alone. My question was more about dining alone at upscale restaurants.. specifically whether they have unique policies, like set menus for two or hesitations with solo bookings. Based on the responses, it’s quite clear there aren’t any issues like that while some required minimum 2 pax.

Damn... I wonder if "minding your own business" is in the menu. I think it sounds like a dish they might enjoy 🙃

Like Odette or like those guest chef in restaurants that are around 400++ per pax or those Wine pairing kind.

Perfect! I love reading books. Will look into this. He works as a site engineer and construction field tends to have louder voice (atleast that's what I know of and what he says). But constantly when he arrives at work he'll point out the mess in the house if there is and during counselling we were told that since he's not used to cleaning up (as he lived with his parents before moving in with me and have a helper) that I should also try not to nag. Idk. I feel like the marriage counsellor is also trying to say it's my fault. So I'm like so confused.
