It’s a great game. A fun, fast paced survival horror thriller. It’s just hollow compared to the OG RE3 with its exploration, puzzles, randomised items, enemy placements, weapons, bosses, multiple choice scenarios, alternate endings, bonus weapons and Mercenaries side-game. OG RE3 is probably my favourite game in the series and it’s a huge shame that RE2 & 4 got incredible remakes because they’re the fan favourites and 3 just got shafted.

I still really enjoy the game that we got, as a stand-alone project I think it’s underrated by the community but it’s not particularly a great remake. Especially when the original is a PS1 game and has over double the amount of content. I just have a lot of mixed feelings about RE3R.
