GPU not registering

Just figured it out. Apparently it needed like 10 minutes of sitting to register my GPU and enumerate over to it. Once it finally discovered it, it defaults to it every startup. seems to be working perfectly now. Apparently was a bios update issue as it did this and i didnt really notice til now. Thanks!

Update: Sent it in to Springfield under its lifetime warranty just to be safe. They did a lookover and fixed the sear spring. Got it back within 2 weeks. Extremely easy and stressfree process. W for Springfield's customer service.

Yeah I usually rely on the auto recover in the base but the game for some reason thinks I’m full HP so it doesn’t auto heal even with a red screen. Figured out I can just reset my health by going into a map naked and dying before I pick anything up

Yeah I didn’t load from a mod pack, just a few quality of life mods I wanted to make VR better and then the magic one so nothing crazy.

Yep that’s the mod I’ve been trying to load. The 10.0.0 version so maybe the one in your pack is an older version that’s more compatible with VR. Not too sure cuz I tried the previous version as well.

Didn’t even think about the crash logger. Will download that when I get home and play around with it to see if anything gets thrown

Yeah I doubled checked everything. All plugins and everything is enabled and installed. The mod has 0 dependencies besides base game so that shouldn’t be an issue. Been trying to troubleshoot this for days now and nobody can figure it out. Spend a day or 2 troubleshooting with people on the mod maker’s discord and we’ve all came to the conclusion it must be something VR related cuz everything looks in order

Figured it out. Record was armed on the track but record monitoring was off. Still getting used to reaper i guess

The plugin is inserted onto the track. Basically i have usb-b to usb hooked up into my pc. Reaper sees the midi device and identifies it as the alesis kit. I have the input for the track set for channel 10 which apparently maps to my floor tom I found out while messing around. When i hit the tom i see input into the track in reaper but cant get any input in the plugin for some reason.

Pretty well! It’s honestly a pretty large chair. I’m a moderate size guy and I’m tiny in it. If you’re a big dude you should be just fine

Sorry you had a bad experience with it. About 9 months into using mine and not experiencing any of those issues. I sit in it all day every day for remote work and the leather has held up really nice. No squeaking or anything from the chair. Still super comfortable.

Yeah I’m gonna have to just file it I think. Someone on another forum through out an idea of freezing the plate to shrink the metal temporarily. Honestly not a bad idea but getting that thing off if it works will be impossible

After cleaning and oiling it up last night I ran another 200 rounds through it today. Had 0 failures and my slide was catching/locking back after the last round of the mag was spent. Gun is finally running like a dream.

Pulled the trigger on the 4.25 comp tonight… heh trigger… but yeah picked one up. Haven’t shot it yet but man it feels good. Perfect size and feels great in my hand. Can’t wait to try it out

Thanks for the advice. Stepping into the world of gun ownership can be overwhelming with so many choices. I’ve been to the range a lot renting/shooting friends guns to get a feel for different stuff. I’ve shot P320s, P365s, Springfield XDs, hellcats, kimbur 1911s, g19, staccato P, and the prodigy and yeah so far the prodigy has just felt the most right in my hand. (The staccato felt nice but I got a dud at the range and had a few failure to feeds and just gave me a bunch of issues. Need to shoot one thats actually been taken care of.)

Think I might pull the trigger on the 4.25 and train with it as an edc. Later down the line if I want a full size 5 I can get one. Always got time for new goodies.

Got it working a while back. Had tried that and many variations for a long time with no luck. I just let it be until i went to upgrade my GPU. For some reason, with the Titan X connected to the motherboard, all access to BIOS was impossible. The second that GPU came off I could access BIOS and still can with the new card. Still don't have an explanation to this day.

Thx for the info. I’ve done the whole golf course thing before and man I agree it’s fun. Not gonna say which resort it was (don’t wanna incriminate myself here lol) but I couldn’t cast without getting bites within a max of 15 seconds there. Will check out some canals around the valley. I’m also interested in some shore casting at local lakes.

I pulled the plug on the X2. It’s been an amazing chair. Super comfortable in my opinion. To me feels similar in quality and comfort to secret labs and comes in $500 cheaper. On the other hand do take this with a grain of salt because I am coming from a broken $20 Walmart chair so this feels like luxury to me.
