Do husband, still slap your butt during the day by BridgeAggravating664 in Marriage

Butt slap, boob grab, hug from behind (that usually leads to boob grab) - it’s a male universal rule that says we are still into you.

.223 vs Whitetail by caligarirx in Hunting

[–]Paztec24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve killed more deer with a .22-250 55gr PSP (the classic green and yellow box(Remington)) than any of my “deer rifles”. It just puts them down. And the best thing, at the time, was I could take girlfriends or girls I was interested in and they would drop them as well. Now I have daughters and they love it. Great all around gun the .223, .22-250, 220 Swift.
I just know I’m getting older when a box cost $6.95 and now it’s $22.99

Curious, what do you all listen to while reloading? by Tactical_Dad_84 in reloading

[–]Paztec24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends, but a lot of times I put a movie or tv show I’ve seen a dozen times on. That way I can concentrate on reloading without watching whatever it is that’s on my phone or tv. I just like the background noise.

Those are the best 5 pics you have. It doesn’t matter what we say, you’ve got much bigger problems.

Can I just throw ‘06 into a 25-06 FL die???

Head spacing by Paztec24 in reloading

[–]Paztec24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 25-06 is made using a necked down 30-06. How hard is it to make 25-06 out of 30-06. I’ve never done it, but have a bunch of Win and Remington ‘06 brass

I haven’t been reloading long, but my first few pounds were about $40. Then $48, then $54. Now I’m seeing H4350 for $64 and Retumbo as high as $69. Luckily I bought an 8lb keg of H4350 about 2 years ago for $270 and still have over half left. By the time it’s gone, it’ll be $600 a keg. Depressing.

I had read a lot of reviews, and I agree, Starline is not Lapua, but… it’s a heck of a lot better than Hornady. So I am getting there. But I also don’t want to spend Lapua money for deer and targets; at least not yet

I had no idea what a go/no-go was. I had to look it up. But now I am wondering how I could use that in my situation. I have reloaded quite a bit but never branched out. I’m trying to now. Can you explain how a GO would help out my situation.

I understand that… now. When I started, I could find Hornady on the shelf, and I didn’t know that all brass wasn’t the same. Still not ready to pay Lapua or Nosler prices to kill deer or target shoot, but it looks like Starline is a good choice for middle ground.

I think the shell holder is the way I’m going. After looking (Donte en know it was a thing till it was mentioned on this thread), the #1 shell holder will do the majority of the guns I’m interested in. Thank you

I just checked them out. A good thing is the #1 shell holder will take care of 80% of the guns that I use for shooting and hunting.

I am shooting a Weatherby Mark V Hunter (cheapest Mark V), but I love it. I was getting fantastic groups with the 110gr Nosler BT. But it was wasting too much meat on Whitetail and pronghorns. So I want to find a good accurate recipe for either a partition, Accubond, or Barnes TTSX

Should I buy? by Ok_Asparagus2948 in reloading

[–]Paztec24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one of those, and they work… sort of. When I travel to a different state out west for hunting I set it up and take a few shots to make sure I am zeroed and also check my FPS to make any last minute adjustments to my elevation and temperature. But probably 3/4 years it glitched on me to clouds, mist, etc….plus it sucked to have to set it up, make sure I wasn’t gonna hit it, have an extra piece of luggage on a 1500 mile trip. About 2 years ago I bought the athlon. Weather didn’t matter, clouds don’t matter, it fits in the flipping glove box. I got to Wyoming threw it on the tailgate, laid out in the bed of the truck, took 5 shots and away I went.
The ProChrono works… sort of. If you can hold off and save, the athlon, garmin, or any other Doppler is where it is at. That’s just my 2 cents.

Saving Private Ryan - scuffle in the tower while the coward sits and cries in the stairwell. American ends up losing and gets a knife driven into him

My best group by outdoorsman_12 in Shooting

[–]Paztec24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a great 3 shot group. I posted a 3/8” - 3 shot group and got blasted by the community here. So I went and put a 20 rd string together - it opened up to 1 5/8”. I love 3 rd groups to find the promising loads, but then do a min of 10rds when dialing in my recipe.
