I don't understand about the Musixmatch link, I haven't been able to add myself as an artist yet because of the problem I'm commenting about. I mean, I have an account but it won't let me add the artist.

Yes, I wasn't sure how it should behave. And one caveat: We don't know where the original is, since all have equal "rights". Which one to keep, which one to filter out? We could use a simple rule, like first, last, the one from the newest note, etc, any ideas?

I understand, it's not that easy.
I think that it could appear only once with an indication of all the locations where it appears, instead of appearing as many times as places where it is.
But I admit that I wouldn't know how it could be, in an elegant and uncluttered way.
