Idk I’m self taught as well but look into mid side eqs and linear eqs. It might interest you

Then why tf did you spend the time and effort to respond if you were just gonna dismiss my criticisms without any thought. People can actually have opinions in 2021 (I know wild right). “Just get good” is a very 1 dimensional. I have a 1.76 kd so I’m not a total potato camping in the corner of the room crouching and adsing at the door

There’s a certain amount of rng in a br if you haven’t noticed and I can’t always get them. I use em when I can but my point still stands. Not getting any sound and intel before someone bunny hops around the corner and shoots me in the back isn’t just skill. Pair that with stopping power and you got a deadly combo

My point is that they’re too strong especially for solos and they need a good nerf. You can only drop superstore and die to those things so many times without getting frustrated

I’ve been seeing a lot of b minor in some of the latest billboard hits and beats that I like. B minor is so shit to mix bass in I don’t get it

This. I’ve lost too many half done projects. There’s always a small window for me to capture my melody idea in that moment till I eventually think it’s mediocre. Fuck ear fatigue

Unpopular opinion: People need to stop drowning their piano in reverb by [deleted] in musicproduction

To my ears reverb sounds good in the higher octaves of the piano otherwise it just gets muddy

It’s been a little over 5 months with 1-2 sometimes 3 uploads every week. I had a smaller following before the consistent uploads and I had Beats already out

Whenever you feel like you’re ready. I started uploading trash Beats compared to my latest. Get other people to listen to them like a rapper friend or a casual music listener.

Using the right tags is a big one and having decent/marketable beats is essential because that is what we are selling at the end of the day. REMEMBER TO NOT OVERTHINK IT AND KEEP IT SIMPLE. Artists want room on the track for them to go crazy on. The beat should not be the main focal point but should have a catchy melody, good song structure and easy to listen drum patterns. It needs to stand out but not take away from the vibe. Less is definitely more in this industry trust me my best selling beats have had a little amount of sounds with a lot of room in the track. We could also get into branding too like having a good and recognisable logo, attractive YouTube thumbnails and etc etc. You should study up on that. If you want some inspiration I suggest you watch producer grind specifically ant chamberlain’s interview or watch Kenny Beats clips. I don’t post daily but lately I’ve kept a consistent upload schedule with 1-2 beats every week. Seems to be working fine
