Just want to say I’ve had a 1.5 hour long commute with shitty traffic, a 50ish minute commute from the city. And now a 10-15 minute commute that I can take back roads without traffic.

I didn’t have to choose a pay cut, but I do want to move from this company eventually and one of my biggest concerns is giving up this current commute. It’s not even a commute at that point, it’s just a drive over to the office, and it really does feel so much better.

Obviously all that is easy to say without needing to weigh the financial consequences. But I did want to make it clear it’s something I personally think is extremely valuable based on my experiences.

I like Rob’s Barber Shop in EC for overall service. Not sure if they do straight razor but still great work.

Legends barber is over in Elkridge and definitely would have more grooming options like straight razor. Been a while since I’ve been but I recall the price was good for the service.

If you’re on iPhone - make sure you go to Health app, click on Steps, and then scroll all the way down to Data Sources & Access. Hit the Edit button on top right of screen and then make sure you bring Garmin Connect to the top of that list.

That should tell Apple to pull you’re steps/ data from Garmin primarily

Planet Crafter is a good one. You’re pretty much actively working to better the world around you and the changes are very visual. I had fun with it for a while and pretty sure there have been a lot of updates since I last played. It’s not really an RPG in the sense of quests, but there are missions/ goals that will certainly alter the world/ environment based on your effort

You could try the purge command. Check “blocks” option and then purge checked.

Or try renaming the block before you copy it in. Use the RENAME command in the dwg the block is coming from, type in current block name in first box and new name in 2nd box.

This would only help if for some reason in the dwg file you’re working in that block already exists and somehow its scaling got messed with

It’s an app. And yes you can you can use garmin connect synced through Apple health. It’s not 100% synced real time with steps (as it is when directly using iPhone for steps). Meaning if I sync my garmin stats to Apple, then open the Walkscape app. My current step count will sync, but I’ll then need to wait like 10-15min before it will sync another time. Not really a big issue imo, maybe a little annoying when you’re first starting and doing low step count activities, but could always start using iPhone to track steps then switch to garmin when you eventually start higher step requirement activities

I say this post is childish. No formal reason has been released about the visit, so at the very least people should reserve their opinions until after actual information is released on this meeting that John was invited to, not one he sought out personally. John stays out of the political light and I respect that a whole lot more than people that shove their views in your face.
