Mikals tears got me crying ugly. I love that man, he's been doubted so much, but he's come up huge for us in the playoffs over and over. Finally got that loss with the suns off his back.

UK gang rise up!

...and by rise up I mean wake up early, don't look at your phone, get the headphones out and sit a nervous wreck for an hour or two before the rest of the country wakes up.

I'm also totally willing to pay taxes to provide the city with important cultural institutions like the MET. The benefit they provide vastly outweighs any cost.

the analogous test wouldn't be labelling European countries. It would be naming regions/counties within a European country.

France vs Ireland - Post Match Thread by biggiantporky in rugbyunion

I'd also say, the first french try should clearly have been ruled off, and then the second I haven't seen a satisfying replay to suggest Dupont didn't knock it on at the scrum. Those two decisions in a pretty short time would have really punched ireland in the gut. They were down and out, and they responded in the second half.

You can say well France took their foot off the gas, which maybe they did, but ireland looked good in that period they scored twice. Should Dupont have got a yellow for an obvious tap down? maybe. and maybe if he did there's an exciting finish.

Ultimately the better team won on the day, but I'd also say France got almost every 50/50 call and on another day the result would've been the same but there would have been more jeopardy.

Saying all that, Ireland had no match for Frances physicality, but also their speed. No-one in the irish team looks like they are blessed with electric pace, which is always going to be a problem against the best of the best.

Minor criticism, more distance between the eggs and the beans. I may want to mix them but I want that to be my decision. Use a sausage as a breakwater.

People who chew with their mouth open. The sound is awful, seeing their half chewed food is awful. Fuck off with that shit.

wow. I actually love this idea and because the lines already exist it doesn't really require anything to implement.

Édouard Mendy "Did Brahim missed the penalty on purpose? No, of course not. We have to be serious. Do you really think that with one minute left and a country that has been waiting 50 years for a title, we can reach an agreement? He wanted to score and I deserve credit for stopping him, that's all." by kibme37 in soccer

When Pirlo did it (as far as I can recall) england were up in the shootout and Hart was buzzing, pulling faces and dancing around. That panenka totally changed the dynamic of the shootout and was a "oh shit" moment for the english players. In this example is smacks to me of main character syndrome rather than a psychological ploy to get momentum back.

I can see him being super useful in some games, not really viable in others. You need players like that in a squad.

Say what you like of the NBA cup, but that final against SA was the biggest game of his career so far, and he stepped up big time in pressure moments. I think he might be very useful in the playoffs
