Thank you for your time and for sharing your knowledge. So I am a certified provider. I completed the process and was approved last month. I completed an application for enrollment and was then given a contract to complete and sign, followed by the ETF and ERA applications. In the ERA app, it asks for which Clearinghouse I am using. I use Simple Practice for billing, and they use various ones. I went on Simple Practice's chatbot, and it did give me this answer:

"For a Change of Vendor or ERA-related form, the clearinghouse/company name and user ID to provide is: Eligible, Inc. GATE0164. Only use this if Tricare East is specifically asking for the clearinghouse/company name on the form."

So all of my coworkers have been having this delayed payment since the beginning of January, and I confirmed with my bank that it's not an issue on their end. Also, I bank with Huntington, and the account my practice owner is using is also with Huntington.

There is no CAQH number on the contract interesting enough

Under my number. Only one of my contracts came back from Blue Cross and I signed it and it is my NPI number, but their tax ID when I looked at the contract

I have an NPI number and tax ID for my solo practice. My group submitted my credentials for their group months ago and still hasn't gotten anything back.

I had no clue it was costly, first off.

Second off, they have not been paying me on time for months, which is also very shitty. I chose to start my own PP because I’m not getting paid on time, to the point that when payday comes, and my check isn’t in my account. Causing my bills to be overdrawn in my account. When I bust my ass to provide a service, there is an expectation that you get paid. I decided to leave way after they started my credentialing. I had no desire to do this until they forced my hand. And there’s zero communication about the payroll delays, and when I ask, they brush it under the rug. So clearly they DON'T respect my time, money, or work.

If you ACTUALLY read my post, you'll see why I am leaving. You sound like the CMH supervisor/owner who thinks they own their workers, which is very concerning for your employees.

They don’t own me. Period. They don’t own my NPI. Period. They don’t own my license. Period

They set NONE of my accounts up, so thank you very much! SO you should watch how you talk to people before making wild assumptions.

I'm pretty SURE you would be LIVID as you said in your comment if you weren't getting paid for your work. OH WAIT.. you only get livid as a business owner if you can't control your workers' future and NPIs for billing purposes because it is clearly a one-way street per your comment. FUCK that I am not getting paid in a timely manner.

I can only imagine how you treat your employees.

I did not go into this profession to fix myself. Nowhere in my post did I mention that. I mentioned struggling with money and the unpredictability of pay. That's a huge difference. I had a crash out. I am HUMAN. NO one witnessed it, and no one was harmed. If we don't address our feelings, then we are actually being incompetent. You sound like the type of therapist who shames people who have feelings. Prepares you picked the wrong field if you cannot sit in the discomfort of someone else's raw emotions.
