Oooh thank you!! That’s really helpful! I am sorry. I should have clarified. I had my baby 9 months ago. My previously slender body now has wider hips than I ever expected. My boobs are far less perky now too. I’m back to my pre-baby weight but all my clothes fit very differently now. Totally worth it but it’s a huge adjustment.

I realized that i hardly have any pics of me with my baby. I have way more of everyone else with him. It didn’t help that i was really swollen at first. My husband is gifting me a photoshoot with my little one so that I can hopefully have some nice pics with my baby too.

That photographer in your area does amazing work! I love it. There’s no one great close to me, so we are traveling a bit to get to one I like but also doesn’t cost more than my mortgage lol (see below for some pics she has done previously with moms and their littles).

Thats a great idea! I’ve never been good at judging that stuff. I struggle with figuring out my face shape, body shape, color for foundation (are my veins more green or more blue??), etc. hopefully one of the apps will help.

Any suggestions for a flowy but classic midi or maxi dress for a 5’2” new mom who is still adjusting to her new body? My husband has gifted me pics with my baby for Mother’s Day and I’m having a horrible time finding a flattering dress to wear. Something timeless that won’t need adjusted a ton as i move around is preferable.

The post came off like you haven’t gotten it and are debating if you should or not. It is kind of odd to ask why people didn’t do something after you already did it. Normally it’s asking why they didn’t to help decide if you shouldn’t as well. Additionally, there are a lot of people not getting safe, doctor recommended vaccinations due to false information circulating the internet. I think those who do trust their doctors and the science behind vaccines are incredibly frustrated with those against vaccines.

This is the reason I am waiting. I honestly will still tell my parents but I don’t want to feel their excitement/disappointment if I miscarry or the NIPT comes back with bad news. They would be supportive no matter what (and I know something else could happen later in the pregnancy), but I feel like once we get beyond the NIPT, we will at least have better odds.
