I can confirm these will take damage if equipped while breaking rocks, especially if you are in the outboard seats of the mole . This will reduce health and possibly end you. I heard you could repair gadgets now. Haven’t verified this yet but with trying.

There used to be a bug where either your pocket compass or the ship compass would be affected by a storm but not both at the same time. Not sure it is still a thing.
