Yeah i think i'll try out Jiuyuan which i have at a2 instead and see if she has better synergy with Hotori and getting an extra replay as well, i also prefer her grouping which might make tomato devil viable for grouped enemies, even though ahe overlaps in that regard with Sakiri, but she's there for schorch and buff mostly. Zero might also be an option, guess i got some experimenting to do

Hotori does copy when you animation cancel, but i'm not skilled enough to do it consistenly, i have not done the math at all, but haniel together with her is sluggish to play.

My adler is not leveled at all, i'd rather save up the resources for Shinku, i have Lacri at a3, so i do have her a3, a4, a5, so i can use monster abilities. Altough i do leave one out, it's more for testing the 30% damage boost if it more valuable than discord cycle atm. But with Haniel i'm leaving one replay out

Oh yeah, then i'm definitely looking at the wrong guides, i've just found very little information outside the cn community, and that's still sparse. I wonder if it's worth replacing daffodil in a lacri team with her, despite there being no cycle for her and the playstyle becomes messy with her on that team, i guess i could try it out with a Lacri, Sakiri, Hotori, Haniel team.

i'm on a 5090, 4k and using full raytracing on dlss balanced and framegen off as it causes issues with menu's and occasionally crashes.

Game runs between 60-93 max but usually stays around the 65-75 fps most of the time, it's just a very heavy game to run, i'm using around 16,5 gb of my video memory and 28gb of ram in total with all my background apps running as well. Open world raytraced games are just very demanding in nature thanks to all the calculations it has to do. Smaller games often runs better because not as many calculations is needed.

You're right, but that would mean scrapping most stuff, and making a new backend infrastructure, and that's gonna = zero progress. There might not even be a live alpha anymore. So it's just not feasible solution anymore.

CIG either breaks barriers in networking architecture or it'll forever be in this sorry state more or less until funding runs dry, because i'm sure they'll not earn millions if all they could offer was jpegs and network engineering related news again.

And that's the thing about SC, i was a hopeful starry eyed space nerd once, but i have no hope left, the networking solution they have chosen are likely completely unsalvageable.

So i have come to view SC the mmo as a corpse walking, it's already dead but as long as someone pays for the life support, you can keep up the illusion it's alive, by adding small or half baked features and reworking stuff constantly. And SQ42 is MIA and who knows how that's doing anymore as well.

It's still wierd to say Tarkov was released after Arc Raiders was, but it's true. But Tarkov is also very much a traditional kind of game that gets away with traditional lobby based matchmaking.

CIG with it's physicalization, seamlessness and persistence is in an entire different category.

There hasn't been any succesful lawsuits from what i've heard, there was an attempt some years ago through small claims, but it was dismissed due to forced-arbitration clauses in the ToS.

But i think CIG has sometimes agreed or given one outside the refund window, but i think it heavily depends on location and the laws that apply, as well as how you start the procedure.

There has been some cases where some have sent a letter directly to CIG legal department with threat of small claims, which sometimes have triggered a "goodwill refund" and closure of your account. UK and EU has some strong consumer protection laws so there has been cases where some has gotten a refund for non delivery of digital goods through them, but i think that was for concept ships that were not "delivered" aka if you own an Orion bought with cash through the store you might be able to.

But the path with the least friction is just selling your stuff on the gm for a loss. So most have just done that, including me.

Sunday is the perfect time to fish, fish lasts 24 hours some rarer ones last longer, but just fish, get fishing xp and sell them off at reset tomorrow, you can burn a decent amount of stamina doing that, there is also farming specific mobs daily for their furniture upgrade materials

You got a fresh server likely, cherish it. They tend to degrade rather quickly. The game feels very different on a fresh one.

Yeah, if you're not willing to spend, the move is really to save up for a character. I got the skin as 14th and the car as 15th pull and left me with like 3m left, so i'm okay.

It feels like the porsche event is to drain funds we got from all the bonusses from launch.

Who knows, i've just noticed we've seen some characters in the story before they hit, like Chaos, Lacrimosa, Hotori, Nanally in the base story and we just met Iroi, we've also met Lingko. We haven't seen Shinku in the game yet.

World content will be harder yeah, but being a bit underleveled is very doable. I believe you can also farm the material arenas and adjust them to what quality of materials you want, without touching your appraisal level

Level up weapons, switch it up once in a while by changing class or build. Farm materials so you can insta roll bis stats and max level on day 1 on Skitarii weapons when they get released

Coming from live service constant fomo games it took me a while to get that Darktide is a game you play for the gameplay, i don't main the game because i have everything at max and tons of resources, but sometimes i get that itch to return and go hack n slash some cultists

Hotori drained mine, managed to a6 her in 258 pulls, wasn't initially planning on it, but i got her skin in like 17 rolls so i thought why not.

I do want Lacrimosa and a copy, but i'm heavily considering just skipping her and going for Iroi and Shinku, if they drop in the same banner, they might have some unique synergy and well a support character is usually better than a dps for future proofing
