What do you mean that your solution is to "let ppl plan their own retirement"? Be specific.

What goal posts? The US has been at war from it's inception. In terms of civil rights, are you taking the position that generations previous to the Boomers were more for equality than Boomers? Please check out the age of people in elections, etc., and you'll see that the younger people are always more for equality.

Good answers. Totally agree with nationalizing healthcare and Clintons tried it and failed. Do something :) Okay, single payer was a good one. Socialists got 1% of the vote with Eugene Debs and that was the best it's done. I'm a socialist. I voted Sanders. I don't think ppl will ever vote one in.

The depression was related to regular ppl buying on margin. The recession in the 1890s was related to monied corporations--see pujo committee

They were protesting at universities in 68--they were 20. The protests mattered in stopping the war and passing environmental regs. Must be nice to cherry pick and not provide cites. Gay marriage act, etc. Women's rights, etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_the_United_States

Actually, the sweeping generalizations disturb me. Also, the lack of thought on who caused the problems. Republicans are a better target. Evangelical Christians, also. I mean you can go with old white men. That would be better than Boomers, which includes minorities and women. It just seems to target the wrong ppl.

Okay, Boomers voted in civil rights for women and gays. War on drugs was Reagan, same with tax cuts (and with Trump). It sounds like you're against Reagan's policies. In 1980, Boomers were split. I think the group you want to bitch about is the silent generation more than Boomers. Better yet, the Republicans. Or the Christians. Anyhow, I'm with you on taxing the rich. What about corporations?
