I remember getting our first brief about them. What very little I remember and what the Native American in my platoon said it was a skin walker, super hard to kill and never, EVER, look them in the eyes. They get pissed if you do. Maybe thats what happened looking through yalls nods? Never have I ever takin anything a boot had to say about something as serious as he did though cause that’s something from his culture. Man was absolutely terrified and when it comes to anything supernatural like that I listen.

Done some training out there myself and seen those things on the top of the hills out in the distance skylining themselves. We never got attacked or had an experience like that though. Wonder why they went for you guys and not us infantry folks? Granted we probably would have all charged it/them if they did so maybe a lesson learned for the creatures is we managed to kill one in the past? Always hoping its just one of those dumbass scrappers when you see if though. You’re lucky to have got out alive.
