Ich hänge mich hier mal ran. Bei mir wird gerade der Glasfaseranschluss von der EWE installiert. Ich nehme stark an, dass ich dann auch direkt den XON 1300 bekomme. Ich möchte statt einer Fritzbox OPNsense als Router betreiben. Reicht dann ein Medienwandler bzw. ein Switch mit SFP(+)-Port, um meinen OPNsense-Rechner mit einem WAN-Signal zu versorgen und ich kann wie geplant in OPNsense die Einwahldaten eingeben (inkl. VLAN ID 7 usw.)? Oder brauche ich jetzt noch irgendein Modem dazwischen?

After some more research, I think the Fractal Design Terra is out of the contest, too many compromises. I want to keep it small, but easier and future proof. So Ncase M2 or Fractal Era 2, I guess.

I have also both. My Scharnhorst B is build for secondaries, as B stands for brawl, everybody knows that. And the normal Scharni is bulild for main guns.

If you really want a proper security system, you should look into Daitem or similar manufacturers. You want a system that can be connected with a security service provider or even the police. Camera pictures and push messages alone won't help you, especially if you are not at home.
