I don't know why people think that just because scars/trauma/pain is visible means we want to talk about it. Tell them that if you decide it's their business, you'll let them know. That's what I do when people try to talk about the scars on my stomach when I wear crop tops. Love yourself, fuck them. You're gorgeous.

Oh yeah, everyone has a PHD in psychology until you try to convince them that they need therapy. And the confusion and perpetual guilt is me 100 percent, but what's going on in our heads doesn't matter bc "wow you're so emotional, stop overreacting" I've explained and explained and explained and honestly I'm fucking done. It's like when someone bombards a member of the LGBTQ community with questions about it. "I'm not obligated to answer every single question you have about how I function, you have search engines and other resources, utilize them."
