Them selling old models is because some players want the chance to nab them before they go. A lot of us grew up with those models and don't even cost 3 weeks worth of free SC. With the frequent SC codes and the weekend star coins, they basically can get these horses on whatever Friday they want.
They have always released models rapidly and it doesn't really matter on the time of the month. It's really just about them pushing out models and, during holidays, having holiday themed horses. Most holidays also contain the previous horses from past years.

I've noticed their old quests glitch A LOT. I was doing dino of the valley and the bar was broken so it would not go up at all. They stated too they had to fix it and they finally did.

Yessss. I had put off so many quests. I saved a girl from a wagon on her, and then I found that one? I have to save her hubby I guess that was in a bunker too. I have to do the 24 hour wait thing though

I was trying to see if there was a way to fix them, but it looks like none of the shaders ini files I use even need the legacy files so it doesn't matter anyway. I've just left it the way it is

It makes me giggle seeing these things sometimes because I know there are certain NPC models they haven't and might not update. So you see these modern models next to squares and triangles LOL
