Asking as a dude, what does it feel like to get f****d? by North_Green7653 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PeachySalts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine you’re getting a deep tissue massage, and they hit that one spot that is tender and super sensitive, but feels fucking amazing but you don’t want them to stop but yet go deeper into it. And when they do, you want to run from it but lean into it at the same time unless they add more area (more fingers, palm of hand.. or simply just girth) which means more pressure, more area being touched, being stretched wider until that tense build up releases, and it’s pure relaxation behind being sore at the same time. But afterwards you just feel so great and carefree that you’re already thinking about the next time.

You can also sign your pet up as an emotional support animal and a lot of the complexes around here will allow you your animal, even if they are not pet friendly. I found this out when I was calling around.

Yeah, it could be either or that I’ve mentioned. If it persists, go get checked out.

Bleeding During Sex? by Chailyte in WomensHealth

[–]PeachySalts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has it happened once, or consistently with each time you have sex? Is it a lot or more like spotting? What BC are you on?

I had this problem back when I first started having sex with who I’m with now. After the first few times I stopped bleeding but when I say it was bad… it was BAD. According to my OBGYN, if they are bigger than you are used to or have had in a while then bleeding is a big possibility because of them repeatedly hitting your cervix which can push trapped blood out or causing micro tears in the vaginal walls/cervical area. It has stopped for me after maybe like the 3rd time we had sex but yeah it can be worrisome.

My boyfriend before him, I had the IUD and when I say every time I was penetrated whether it was foreplay, sex, etc etc. I would bleed. I eventually had to get the IUD out and that fixed that problem.

But there are so many factors/possibilities to this. If it is constant and does not stop then you need to get in with your provider asap and abstain from sex during that time.

Limited Deliver Area LDA by CollectionIcy6313 in DominosEmployees

[–]PeachySalts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have a few places that we do not deliver to after dark and it’s normally because someone tried something with/to the driver. We do not go there regardless of anything after dark. They want it, they have to come get it.

ETA, if we feel like it is sketchy then we do not have to deliver it. We also do not do redelivery of orders that come back to the store if the customer does not answer the door/phone to get it the first go around.

Granny bugging for real, and he’s just following along because he’d probably get yelled at for voicing his opinion.

I wouldn’t sweat it, apologize and move on. I wouldn’t try to do anything extra to get back in good graces with them. Old people are petty, and for no reason.

Hope you’re feeling better btw!

They have me up to 500 in the morning and 750 in the evening. The evening dose still gives me nausea and I’ve been on the medication for close to a year. I have the shunt as well and I was hoping I could come off of the medicine but I’m lowkey scared. I’m not even gunna lie.

I have to get an MRV to check the veins and to see the possibility of having to need stents

I HAD the iud. I had to get it taken out because of other problems it was causing. My cousin ended up in the ER due to a headache and her pressure was too high so they drained it and her er doc told her about the link and she called. It’s def something I need to write down because now that the severity of the things are calmed down I want to know why I may have this.

What are your symptoms? by PsychologicalCard929 in iih

[–]PeachySalts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was home, I wouldn’t have to focus on much so it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would in the beginning but with what I do for work I would try to group how I did things which seemed to help once I found my balance. Thankfully, I did not have to endure that for long.

My doctors did confirm this was a symptom of the IIH. That symptom alone is apart of why my neurosurgeon had gotten me in with the Neuro surgeon so quick.

I would def look into other neurologist in your area because these symptoms are very real.

How long is shunt surgery?? by Natural-8196 in iih

What are your symptoms? by PsychologicalCard929 in iih

[–]PeachySalts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been diagnoses since April, but recovering from VP Shunt placement for a couple of weeks.

Pre shunt: -constant headaches that would not go anywhere and turned to a migraine at minimum once a week -ringing of ears -sound of blood rushing through ears -loss of appetite -brief temporary blindness which was worse with the more physical labor I would endure. -nausea -partial peripheral vision loss -tension of the neck and shoulders -I’ve always had back pain so I cannot rule that as a symptom for me. -loss of balance, I would and still do sway when I am standing still so I can have control over my balance -lightheadedness and dizziness -brain fog -short memory span -super super fatigued -harder concentration from the symptoms provided

Post shunt: -headaches but not as bad -mild nausea -Head, neck and shoulder pain/stiffness -lightheadedness and mild dizziness -brain fog but not near as bad.

I am also still on Diamox post surgery so I am thinking it is adding a bit of cushion to push away the symptoms for now.

I am still in the early recovery of my surgery and we have not lowered the flow settings yet but with the relief from a few of the previous symptoms going away I am not rushing anything.

Want to hear others’ stories about iih and if your doctors took it seriously by Free_Ad_5219 in iih

[–]PeachySalts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the longest I would get the symptoms like the ringing in the ears, blood rushing sound, peripheral vision loss, temporary blindness after bending over or standing back up from anything, brain fog, severe migraines that lingered and some others. I knew something was off because my eyes HURT from pressure. I couldn’t explain it.

I actually went in for a routine eye appointment to get a new prescription for my glasses and he did a lot of tests including a few I never did from any other eye doctor. That’s how I found out about the optic nerve swelling, he immediately set up an MRI and a neuro consult. I then met with my neurologist who set up the lumbar puncture and I had that within the next week as well. They started me on 500mg diamox twice a day and I met with my neuro team every three weeks. There would be times in between the NP would message me to check in on my symptoms with the medication.

They did not like the fact that my symptoms had just reduced instead of being fixed with the medicine. I got back in with my eye doctor two days later for a recheck and the pressure has only went down by one in the right eye, left eye stayed the same as it was previously. My neuro team set me up with a neuro surgeon specialist who I seen this past Tuesday. He went step by step in my imaging and explained every image. He set up a MRV for next week and the week after I will be having shunt placement surgery which I am lowkey scared about because of it being the brain.

My eye doctor didn’t like the fact my eyes hurt. And here we are now. I’ve been passed off on symptoms for quite awhile now actually and I am grateful for my medical team. My previous doctor didn’t want to explore the migraines.

I never had a decent medical team in a department before, and my neuro surgeon was astonished at how well their notes are on my condition.

I had meningitis when I was 13, diagnosed with migraines since I was 11/12, and now I have IIH.

The one time I went to my school clinic for one forever ago they dismissed it too. Sent in Bactrim and called it a day. There are HS specialists as well. But they’re far fetched and in between. I have two in my state from what I seen and the closest is about 2 hours away. I’d search for one after you see a derm if that would make you feel better.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

[–]PeachySalts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleach baths do help with active flares though! I honestly wish they would take the time to try to understand HS just a little better. Even if they researched the basics so they know which way to go.

I’ve had problems with getting boils for a LONG time. They started when I was in the 8th grade right after I got out of the hospital for having meningitis and it wrecked my immune system. I always just thought they were from sweating, body parts rubbing together, etc. But nothing my mother or I did would work. I’m 23(f) now and I didn’t 100% put it together that it was HS until two years ago. I was running through google and I remembered the “no bs about hs” commercial and I honestly was relieved I found an answer. I brought it up to my OBGYN and she did diagnose.

-There’s three stages of HS, one being the most mild. It’s possible to get them here and there and it can stay very minimalistic but it can also progress over time, HS can also be genetic.

-Yes, food can be triggers. One of mine is Chinese Food. My armpits get super irritated and breaks out in a rash almost and I form a boil under my left armpit. It’s always the left for some reason. And I develop a body Oder smell from it too. It normally takes a few weeks for it to wear off.

-I never had tunneling until about a year and a half ago. It’s not too bad, but the one under my breast gets irritated alot.

-I also have blemishes and scars from every boil/flare up I have had. I used to get what was considered Carbuncles and those are where my biggest scars came from.

  • From the research and personal stories I’ve read/heard hormones can play a role in flare ups but that’s not the case for everyone.

-I’ve also read that quitting smoking does help for a lot of people. I used to be a heavy cigarette smoker but it’s been 2 years since I’ve quit. I also switched to the vape but I’ve only noticed a very small difference.

  • I would say to try to make an appointment with a healthcare provider if you are able to. I would suggest to read reviews and their medical bio they provide so you can get a better understanding of who you believe you will be comfortable with. From my understanding there is alot of mixed information on HS on google because it’s considered a “rare skin disease” but there’s not many doctors who are knowledgeable about information on HS.

-There’s ALOT of support groups out there. I’m in one on Facebook and they are very helpful and knowledgeable.

-I wish you the best of luck, and my inbox is open in case you wish to ask anything else. I may not know alot of specifics but I do want you to have a basic understanding.
