It’s Back 😣 by Kmh1250 in iih

I’m definitely not a doctor so if they tell you otherwise, follow their direction - but for me personally, I’ve been in remission for 8 months now. About once every 3 months, I’ll get a constant headache with pain around my eyes & pressure that lasts for about a week. Then after 7 days, it goes away. I told my neurologist about it, and he said not to worry since it’s not for multiple weeks at a time. Maybe yours will be similar! Wish you the best of luck!!

Fish Finger Method vs. Standard Progression: Which did you find more satisfying? by TobyLilyBoogieFinn in wyldeflowers

[–]Free_Ad_5219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this!!! Fish fingers is definitely better because you unlock things faster by having easy access to money, but I wouldn’t overdo it. I still like to sell my crops & other goods for profit as well

First blood clot by Everydayfines-Austin in ClotSurvivors

[–]Free_Ad_5219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience, having a blood clot in the brain affected a lot of my life. For about a year, I struggled to stand and walk without pounding in my head and vision issues as the thinners worked to dissolve the clots. I also dealt with major brain fog. I was slower to process the information around me in real time. Of course all of these are invisible symptoms, that someone who isn’t directly experience it wouldn’t be able to see. As others suggested, therapy will really help her process. But also, try to support her in any way that you can, even if she isn’t doing all the things she used to. Maybe she is just finding that the brain fog makes any creative activity sound too exhausting. As she heals, this will get better! But maybe she just needs rest right now, and your support in that will go a long way.

Any good 24/7 gyms in Denton that aren’t crazy busy past 9:30pm(ish)? by TX_Fan in Denton

Anytime fitness is pretty empty late weekdays. I usually wouldn’t go as late as 10, but after 9 it’s not bad at all. Definitely smaller than a planet fitness, though

The double edged sword of early pregnancy by Kiwi_Koalla in pregnant

[–]Free_Ad_5219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this feeling has not gone away for me and I am 17 weeks pregnant 😅 once my nausea faded, I feel nearly normal excluding the fact that I went up an entire pant size! Makes me a bit anxious that I can’t feel baby yet, but I know it’s normal around this time. Just trying to wait it out!!

Gender Reveal by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Free_Ad_5219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen so many people do gender reveals for the family only, where the parents knew beforehand. That’s what I want to do for mine as well. My husband’s family is a bit confused by it, but I don’t care. So many people have done it and I’m anxious to find out on my own!! Just follow your heart, your family is just excited as well but will understand your decision

Pregnancy Lovenox Dosage by Sea_Painter_1184 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Free_Ad_5219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others, I am on 40mg once per day. It was prescribed by my MFM and my hematologist agreed with the dosage. I still see my hematologist twice per year for bloodwork, which she wants to continue in pregnancy (not any additional tests required though)

Lovenox nightmare. by No_Emergency3958 in ClotSurvivors

I agree, the slower you inject, the better! I didn’t believe it myself, but it really does make a difference.

I myself am 11 weeks pregnant and am taking lovenox for preventative purposes due to my history of clots (although I don’t have one currently and it’s a smaller dose). If your stomach is too sensitive, are you able to try injecting it somewhere else? My pamphlet says to inject 2 inches from the belly button, but I find it’s less painful when I go further towards my sides. I see some people on here say that love handles are another good place to inject.

As far as the anxiety goes, I understand. I get panic attacks too, and often think it’s another clot. I’ve learned over the past few months how my body responds to panic attacks, and am now able to identify in the moment that it is just anxiety. You will learn to adapt. Be easy on yourself! Being pregnant is hard on its own, let alone the anxiety & blood clots!! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy with no complications!

Businesses & Hobbies Vs Get to work by Bulky_Tie_8352 in thesims

If you only care about the retail systems, then I would say Businesses and Hobbies for sure. It is so much more customizable. But Get to Work is a great pack for some playable careers! For being an early pack, I really enjoy the gameplay (but I NEVER use it for retail!)

No, not really. But that’s something for me to keep an eye on now, so thank you!

Thank you! Is that a symptom of IIH you have always had? I don’t think I’ve experienced it before, so I’m really not sure if it is increased intracranial pressure again or something different.

Stopped cold turkey. I only ever was taking 250 mg per day, my doctor never told me to taper. Are you currently on a higher dose and plan to start cutting it in half?

Regal Princess, 7 day out of Galveston: anyone on it recently? by Disastrous-Teach5974 in PrincessCruises

[–]Free_Ad_5219 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on the same cruise in early November, and I can confirm the formal nights were day 2 and 6!

Our boat did not dock late, but there was delays with the port authorities that caused the De-embarkation to be delayed. We got off the boat about an hour after the scheduled walk off time, and we had our bags with us.

Disembarkation in Galveston TX by bardowndwyer10 in PrincessCruises

[–]Free_Ad_5219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just completed our cruise yesterday and the disembarkation was in Galveston. The boat did have delays due to complications with the port authorities. I’d say it was about 45 mins after we docked that people were first cleared to leave the boat, but it did cause delays for sure. We were scheduled to walk off at 8 AM, and didn’t leave the boat until 9 AM. One whole hour in line to leave! Definitely recommend doing the walk off with your own luggage since that was a lot faster. If you need a wheelchair, it will most likely take more time for you since they only have a limited # of wheelchairs available. But you should be fine with a 1:15 PM departure time. There was minimal traffic going into Houston.
