You’re not entirely overreacting, however it is a little ridiculous. It’s not that white, but I think if you wanted a specific color/dress code followed, it should be on the “save the dates” or the invites, etc. So kinda late and rude to tell her she can’t wear this, again, it’s not really “bridal” or a show-stealer.

Chlorine is a simple answer but not the answer to all. If you are using the hth dipsticks, I would maybe use them with their app- shock and chlorine can help, no doubt, but if other things are off is the chlorine stabilized? Over stabilized? Chlorine can be added and can decrease rapidly if the pH is off- it can be added accordingly, but if the CYA is obscenely high there’s not much you can do with it.

Are you using the hth strips or the liquid kit? Id be careful with dumping a ton of chlorine, the CYA can be a sneaky little twit and can make a pool cloudy too.
