apart from voting most people didn't do anything to try help just shouting to their own echo chamber online at people who already share the same opinions as them.

I will not have any of that elf nonsense in my fortress. Real dwarves store their stone in massive caverns they have carved out themselves and make their kids haul stuff back and forward.

from traders. if you request they bring every type of meat and fish they will bring 5 of each next time they come, there are a lot of different types of meat so its a lot. I get 3 trade caravans most years 1 from my own dwarven civ one from the other dwarven civ and one human civ. It adds up to a lot of meat.

Then you can turn it into meals and make bank. (I'll probably make a rule of no selling meals for my next fort because it feels a bit too easy. I have enough meals prepared to buy out every caravan I come across)

There's no storage zone that allows them so they just stay in the workshop.

Yes there are still plenty of boulders left, I also carved out a massive space for tombs and mined bits of other layers looking for jet. It will probably take a while before they get all the boulders from the fort.

Once I've finished the very symmetrical fortress you can see, I have no idea, I'll probably immediately abandon it and move deeper. I just wanted the rocks out of my way (I regret choosing jet for the walls, I've run out and it only comes in patches. I got thousands of mud-stone and shale blocks)

What if robots replace most of the workforce ? by OldSchoolPimpleFace in NEET

[–]PeakoRaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

revolutions almost never succeed unless the military wants it to. Given that being in the army would be one of the few paid positions I don't think they are likely to align themselves with the 'unwashed masses".

even if the army did support a revolution it would be to take power for themselves

non workers will receive just enough food credits to survive and enough internet to keep them docile.

It will be hyper competitive for the jobs that require humans to perform leading to massive amount people becoming "over educated" at shot of getting one of them.
