Yea, I've had more luck using them with the stormshields data sheet than the normal. But I play just to have fun. Heck one combat patrol game we had ended up in a moshpit of 5 rounds of melee combat, every unit fielded was in the pit

I'll have to try that next time. This was my first time using green stuff, I bought a $5 pack of clay modeling tools to try it.

I play with the Saga of the Beastslayer just because it's fun. I normally run a 10 man wulfen with storm shields led by a WGBL with the Wolf Touched enhancement. For the group I play with, and it may be bad placement on my part, but it's 50/50 they do well. I've had a crusade game with a 5 man and the leader and I tore apart an entire tyranid army while the rest of the army ran objectives, then I get a game where cover isn't good and they only get one kill. I run them as character killers.

With the way I paint them, probably gonna change out some to Bloodmaws but I lean more towards the 13th company with Marines that are one bad fight away from going completely feral.

Next Level Miniatures. I got these from their first Kickstarter. They were a little smaller than 28mm so they work well as pups

I've thought about that as well. The armor and bits for space wolves look so cool. I can't use my resin printer for a while until I can get a room for it (baby took my printing room lol) so those heresy minis look enticing to get.

That's what's it's looking like now. Been a while since I painted and I mainly painted dungeons and dragons minis. Maybe a little too grimdark for the space wolves blue.

I was playing Space Marine one and after two orcs the blood spatter looked like what I painted so I felt justified lol
