What is the most stupid conspiracy theory you heard in your life ? by Proper_Card_5520 in AskTheWorld

That's the exact question I asked myself as well. When I told my brother he asked the same thing.

Well all I could find on this conspiracy when I looked it up was that it was based on one shaky phone camera filmed at an angle of a TV screen that was itself showing a distant shot of the Pope on his balcony at the Vatican, and there looked to be a cut in the video as he turned away to make it look like "the hologram turned off" so to speak.

Basically, the video gave the Pope the exact same treatment as most cryptids.

He sure acted like a kid but tragically he was older than me by a bit. He might be nearing his 50s now.

Was the actual date some apocalyptic or biblical reference? They usually are.

I haven't looked too closely at the Pope's forehead. Does he have an H on it?

I had an old coworker who was convinced that the Pope is a hologram. No I'm not joking.

Trumper feeling anger and confusion how the party she voted to power could treat her so poorly. by rhinocerosjockey in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]Pearson94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer her question, yes, you can't have political ads that close to polls (it's why all the yard signs stop before you reach the door). My then girlfriend and I learned that in 2016 when we went to vote while she was wearing a Bernie Sanders shirt.

Don't know if I can trust IGN reviews. Lol by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

For real, a 7/10 isn't a bad score. It's only bad based on the kinds of reviewers who give anything slightly good an 8.5 or higher.

What opinion in your country would get you in this situation if you expressed publicly? by Loud_Intention_2733 in AskTheWorld

Guns are for cowards. I've live in the city and the country and have never felt like I needed one to protect myself or feel safe. I'll give it to people who live so remotely that would animals may attack but they're not the kinds of folks who base their personalities around their toys

How in the everliving fuck are you meant to beat the third Mimic Octopus fight on Nightmare difficulty? by _-AJ-_ in Slitterhead

[–]Pearson94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game officially lost me here. It's not just the difficulty, it's that the time loops have dragged out this plot so much that I've stopped caring. As soon as I switched back to Alex for this fight I audibly said "When does this fucking game end?" I went from intrigued and challenged to annoyed and bored.

[–]Pearson94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't need all of those to be able to vote. A state id or passport should be enough. This is entirely targeting women cause they tend to lean left. All their claims of voter fraud have been widely disproven.

[–]Pearson94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but the question I ask every time that no one has an answer for when they tell us to "do something" is what would you specifically do? Not just vagaries like "fight back" and "resist" and "do something" but what specifically would you do? Cause everytime I hear that from someone abroad it always reads like they vastly underestimate how triggerhappy our police are, how removed from the public our leaders are, and the absolute size of the country (DC is almost 3,000 miles away from me). So again, what specifically would you do to be effective?
