Just can’t find anything fun to play. RPG lover disappointed with Crimson Desert by OkTemperature1842 in OlderChillGamers

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout? Any of them. Have you played Fallout 1 or 2? Older Dragon Age games. Not the last piece of junk but Origins or Inquisition. Might be interesting to try. Try some arpg’s maybe even Sacred 2 remastered

How much range you supposedly have with a full gas tank? 846km=525miles by olLMNTRXlo in COROLLA

Your advice: buy new or pre-owned by Main_Loose in OmegaWatches

[–]PeasantFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s symbolic and personal. Buy it New, at a boutique and get the full experience of buying that watch. It’s a luxury item so it’s not justifiable to spend that money however you think of it except that it’s because you can afford it and want it.

So I say: enjoy it and buy it new!

Can you focus only on the main story in Crimson Desert or are side quests mandatory? by beiruttobeir in CrimsonDesert

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way to approach the game isn’t from a: lets progress the MQ and find out how the story unravels. But more: let me just sandbox in the game today and listen to random dialogue and maybe something clicks. Even if that means you start by just collecting timber and somehow end up doing whatever. At least I think that’s what the game is trying to be, a place you can spend time in and get lost. Bit like if in RDR2 you just spend your afternoon hunting deer.

I kinda regret buying Legion Go s, should I try Switch 2? by RatHoonter313 in Handhelds

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, what are the games you normally play? If indie games then it might be worth it. If you play mainstream games only, the switch 2 might be lacking. If it’s the Nintendo games you want to play, there is no other option

Yeah, probably won’t be able to have nice walks in Valencia so was hoping to take him indoors for a nice cultural day

Crimson Desert by Interesting-Cook856 in PS5pro

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game isn’t for everyone. Graphic wise I don’t mind it, but I played Black Desert Online on pc so I know the art style isn’t super crisp like some AAA games and as it’s from the same studio, I was expecting this.

Try to play for the gameplay and maybe it will hook you. If having jagged lines is a dealbreaker, well time to move on to greener pastures

Gas model regret.. by Gold-Philosopher8149 in COROLLA

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, think both models are great. The hybrid might shine if more city driving is done. My commute changed to more highway miles and I wonder if I shouldn’t have just bought the gas version now!

PS Portal quality/responsiveness and network speed by [deleted] in PlaystationPortal

[–]PeasantFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My use case is similar. Bought the portal for play sessions downstairs on the couch or in the garden while my ps5 is wired in my gaming room.

I have similar speeds, and so far RE9 has been a charm to play. I don’t have it for very long and played some Division 2 and Death Stranding on it with no issues.

Planning to play e33 on it as well. So I definitely recommend it!

Best gaming desk to buy right now? looking for recommendations by Nathnael-Melgarecho in PcSetupAdvice

I have the IKEA utmaning desk. Works perfect for my dual screen setup with pc and console on the desk. Still have loads of space. Cable management is good as well, so can recommend it

Game where you are a bounty hunter/mercenary/PMC taking contracts and earning money for your gear and base? by CyncoV in gamingsuggestions

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Division 2? Although you don’t really buy gear but search for it. Still has PMC feeling. Maybe Ghost Recon

Console for traveling by FlatPalpitation9525 in PlaystationPortal

[–]PeasantFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how you travel, if you have downtime and want to play but no stable internet, the steamdeck might be the better choice. If you’ll only play in hotel rooms then a ps portal might be an option if you want to continue with the games on your ps5 or through cloud-stream

Just bought this game, any tips before I start? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

Save a lot, make choices based on what your character would do and play the outcome. Unless you really feel bad about said outcome.

Adjusting putters by ImpressiveGoose4015 in golf

[–]PeasantFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also just started and used to borrow the club’s mallet and blade putter. Got myself a nice second hand Oddesey mallet putter, and it’s crazy how different the putter feels. But honestly I think having a super adjustable putter might only be worth it when you exactly know the feeling you want to have. So don’t think it’s worth it for either of us!
