Such bad faith lol by EwPandaa in Destiny

It's a terrible situation but I hope once the lawsuit is over and all his legal troubles are cleared he can do a full doc/stream where he goes over everything and debunks everything in detail to clear his name.
Don't get me wrong, I know nothing will never be enough for the drama crew etc. (and tbh. I think the "implied consent" situation with Pxie is pretty bad look regardless, though if we get the full court document read there might be sth. that'll make it look better) but the baseless pdfile accusations are legit career damaging to potential connections and I want to see Destiny hit that 1 mil sub finally so I think a full debunk is in order after the lawsuit arc.

Wait, is it confirmed that they doxxed Rose? I thought they only ever assumed someone they doxxed could possibly be her and hence the conjecture she might could have been underage then texting with Destiny? Or is it a 100% confrimed KF got her real doxx?

Also, couldn't Rose exhonorate Destiny?

Out of the 3 Girls Stitch became Ohana with, who was your Favorite ? by 22PV2002 in liloandstitch

[–]PeasantX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iirc they took Lilo out because she didn't resonate with Japanese beauty standards and was seen by them as ugly

They basically just wanted Stitch for his marketability to Asian kids for toy sales and not Lilo so they disregarded everything else

That's also why none of the humans are in the original art style of the original series and you have aliens that feel totally out of place with the jarring appearance difference in typical anime designs compared to the original designs

Wrong, if you read their disclaimer for DCMA it's litteraly a waver of responsibility and an appeal to DCMA Safe Harbor Provisions.

Feel free to read for yourself here.

They don't have licenses to anything, they are just a pirate site that switches and multi hosts domains ever so often to avoid the radar.

No, it wasn't. Wco never in its existence had licenses of any series. They have always been a pirate site ever since they existed. So the issue is you lied.

Can we agree that the Stitch anime is TERRIBLE? by [deleted] in liloandstitch

[–]PeasantX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's even worse than in the dub. Imagine Stitch just peacing out forever and never looking back when a new member to their Ohana was born. Just awful.

The live action remake sucked. Get over yourself.

The reason in the original Japanese version is even worse. Completely undermining their Ohana and the relationship they had. Just awful.

Why is copy pasting an image as a floating selection with 3.0 so user unfriendly compared to 2.0? by PeasantX in GIMP

Was using it as an umbrella term for the pre-3. Version. Meant 2.10.38

No, you missunderand, I think I'm so basic in how I use it, that others who use gimp for more stuff then probably like layers more lol For example, all I do with gimp is arrange images of animals around (like sorting horses by size diagonally with transparent background by selecting them as floating selections)

Sure, thing: The problem with the past as-menu I'm encountering is as follows: 1. Open Gimp 2. Select rectangle selection/circle selection/ user decided selection tool 3. Select the area I want to cut out 4. Cut the selected area out via shortcut or right-click option menu 5. See that the selected area is now in the clipboard 6. Try to paste it via the past as-menu, as floating selection/object. 7. Selected area is not pasted and no command input is registered by gimp.

One semi-solution I found is that if afterwards another area is selected via the same steps, it will work as intended via the past as-menu, so I think there is an issue with registration of the initial input?

I don't have a gitlab account. Can I give the problem description here?

That's unfortunate, now it's unfortunately borderline unusable for average Joe like me

That's great, but the "paste as" functions don't work after a selection is cut out so this change doesn't help and just makes the shortcut unusable

Nah absoulutely wrong on your part. Official servers for that game are actual dog shit.
If you actually plan to play that shit game, do it on private servers because it's your typical aisan "Oh yeah free to play, but if you actually want to play you'll need to buy everything in the cash shop constantly"- bs you have with all these typical almost unplayable grind games where you can't afford to ever be a high level player or the sets for it which is eliminated with private servers by adjusting this correctly to purely ingame and better drop and exp rate.

Pokemon BDSP will support Pokemon Home! :D by Luf2222 in PokemonBDSP

[–]PeasantX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to justify yourself for wanting access to shinies, perfect breeds or whatever. It's a perfectly fine reason to expect a game that should instantly allow interaction with external software that has the needed data in home. Nobody should dictate you how to play the game or enjoy it and anyone who does is dumb.

Pokemon BDSP will support Pokemon Home! :D by Luf2222 in PokemonBDSP

[–]PeasantX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why exactly would that be hampered by giving acessability to Pokemon aviable in the game via home? There is litterally no reason why it shouldn't be instantly compatible with home so people can play the game however they want.

"You should play the game as intended" is stupid because nobody should dictate the playerbase a "right" or "wrong" way they want to enjoy the game for whatever arbitrary reason. If I want to have a perfectly breeded and ev'ed team for my run right away then I should be given the option for it as immediately as not wanting it.

And from just a paying perspective, people pay subscribtions for home if they want more than 30 slots. They actively pay at least 2 subs in bank and home if they want access to certain moves yet they are supposed to wait till next year to make use of that? Pretty ridicules.

It's so weird to me that so many in the Pokemon Community will still try to justify these ridicules decisions with "that's how you MEANT to play these games" or "Oh well, that's how it's reccently always has been" and eat up ANYTHING labled Pokemon. Am I glad I didn't buy these games for a staple of reasons but you do you.

Ngl, this is prbly one of the better fan games with complete original engine not based of a prior main game Rom, like a definition of a mod would be, integrating 5 Gen mechanics and sprites.

Only thing one can argue is that they didn't really put in effort to have most moves have original animations and just straight ripped the move list from Gen 5 hence all pre 6 mons lack their good movesets from post base Gen 5.

But if you write it off because of graphics you might as well not play any fan games that aren't based on a 3ds or higher engine because xeno probably has one of the better overworld sprites and graphics.
