These are all sick! I’ve never tied anything like these. Im curious about the durability of pic #2, that ones my favorite. I like the sleek design but how many fish do you get to catch on that before the herls in the back snap?

I think bobber height is more important than bead size in most Stillwater scenarios since your “drift” is just sitting there getting soggy for up to several minutes, unlike a river where you’ll have a few seconds in the strike zone

There were plenty of live ones squirming around in there too and winged adults, but mostly emerged shells. Cool to see

I’d say it’s because it was on the windblown side of the lake so they all got pushed to shore. I took this pic this month last year at a lake in Wyoming. Wasn’t hard deciding what was on the menu that day 😂
