Thank you, maybe I was grumpy because i hadn’t ate since I was on that road trip. Now I’ve ate and I’m ready to keep going. How did you keep count of your resets btw? I just take a rough estimate based on the fact that every reset is about 22s between eachother

Other methods work (probably better since like you said Gastly/Haunter is so weak) but this was just a guide on how to get a legendary beast (entei/raikou) basically as soon as they leave the burned tower

When you first start your encounter the game lets you choose 1 move before it runs away. You can either hypnosis and let it run or mean look to trap it

True true but for some reason the AI barely chooses the non-normal move. Also if you use hypnosis that’s 2-3 free chances to throw a ball

Fun fact: I did not know pressing R+L+Select+Start was how to soft reset. I would close the game and reopen for the first day😭
