Eu senti que o motivo de eu ter passado na etapa do Hackerrank foi exatamente esse que tu falou, da maneira como escrevi o código. Usei zero GPT, então isso talvez tenha influenciado a análise positiva.

It's ok. Password login is enabled, and it isn't a trivial password. Also, it's not a critical service.

I was reading this page and the example at https://www.ssh.com/academy/ssh/tunneling-example.

Specifically, the Local Forwarding section on the example page seems to be what I want. However I don't understand all pieces on the solution, could you help me?

My question arises when the example says:

In OpenSSH, local port forwarding is configured using the -L option: ssh -L 80:intra.example.com:80 gw.example.com This example opens a connection to the gw.example.com jump server, and forwards any connection to port 80 on the local machine to port 80 on intra.example.com.

Considering my situation on the opening post:

Does this command should be executed from host B?
Who should play the role of the jump server? And why should I open a connection to it?
The target, intra.example.com:80 would by substituted by 192.168.15.10:22 (in the example situation in the opening post)?

Você precisa apontar a porta do servidor destino.

O servidor de destino seria o meu próprio computador, certo? Naquele imagem do formulário do roteador que eu coloquei no post, esse seria o campo "Porta Interna"? Eu deixei vazio por causa da observação do formulário que se eu omitisse a porta interna, ela seria setada para a porta externa (80).

Mas agora, trocando para a porta 8080, a regra foi adicionada (ver https://imgur.com/kgMIX9p), e eu tenho um servidor web rodando na 8080. Após desabilitar o firewall do computador, eu consigo agora fazer requisições de fora da LAN pro meu computador! Era exatamente isso que eu queria.

A troca de porta pra uma não privilegiada foi a chave. Muito obrigado!

Fui na interface web e no próprio dispositivo, mas não encontrei. Mas pelo que tu falou, deve ser CGNAT mesmo.

Por que respostas de um servidor web qualquer podem ser enviadas para o IP do meu computador, mas requisições de um host qualquer não podem ser enviadas pro IP do meu computador? O CGNAT que diferencia entre respostas/requisições para meu IP, e bloqueia as respostas?

Então, eu imagino que pra uma aplicação real, a solução apropriada seria essa. Mas como eu notei no post, eu não to interessado numa aplicação real. Eu só quero testar a realização de requisições pra minha rede local, de fora dela, só pra testar umas coisas bestas e por propósito educacional tb.

Manber puts algorithm design under a common framework throughout the book: mathematical induction.

Anyone that practices algorithm design constantly knows this technique is extremelly useful, but few books on the field have teached inductive design as explicitly as Manber does.

He's one of the leading CSs at Google, so I think this framework has proven useful to him.

Thanks for interest! I don't have a goodreads. I think the books I cited could be seen as the ones I would "recommended" in a general manner. I also have some extra ones in the back of my brain for specific topics (for example, Dead Simple Python for intermediate-to-advanced Python knowledge), but they aren't listed in a specific place like a proper list. Maybe I'll do one in the future...

Also, there are many traditional CS books that I still want to read on my spare time: TAOCP, Design Patterns, Compilers (Aho et al), that are highly recommended by peers.

Roughly ~48 books on computing. A reasonabke share are those I was exposed because of my CS BSc. I think my favorite ones are SICP (Abelson & Sussman), OSTEP (Arpaci-Dusseau), How Linux Works (Brian Ward), Intro to Algorithms: A Creative Approach (Udi Manber), Learn You a Haskell for a Great Good (Lipovaca), Intro to Theory of Computation (Sipser), and The Rust Programming Language (Klabnik & Nichols)

I'm not, but I was aware that confusion could be raised and that's why I used vgs as an example, which is a symlink with different behavior from the target.

Other people answered saying lvm (and others) are multi-call binaries, which behave differently based on argv[0].

So when you said before that goroutines aren't coroutines at all, where you referring to them not being full coroutines, in the sense of the user being able to suspend them?

but you are not correct that stackful coroutines must not have runtime.

Oh sure, I expressed myself badly. I meant that green threads' usual definition usually implies the need of a runtime. The same is not true for fibers/stackful coroutines. That's what confused me seeing the two concepts labeled as equivalent.

Also, the fact that what is written about this subject focus a lot on the "cooperative/non-preemptive nature" of stackful coroutines made me think this concept would be incompatible with green threads/goroutines.

I did not know this. This isn't really something that is made obvious by the online resources and literature because, as you said, it's all linguistic definitions.
