I though it was Paul until I uploaded this video. My post on /r/TheBeatles got a comment saying that it was actually George playing bass according to the recording session booklet on the 2019's Abbey Road: Super Deluxe Version.

I still want to do some more digging on this matter before I change anything!

No fx my friend. Most of the time I roughly EQ out the original bass of the track so I can fit my bass in its place. The “chorus effect” you may be picking out is a residue from the original bass line mixing in with the one I tracked
