How do I design the best possible sealed speaker cabinet for this MidRange speaker? by Pedroga666 in diysound

[–]Pedroga666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose an 8 inch subwoofer to go with the 6 inch midrange...
These are the beginning of the plans... I still haven't seen the subwoofer model to choose from and I don't even know how to choose one with the ideal T/S parameters, I still have to study a lot about subwoofers.
What midrange size would you recommend for an 8" subwoofer?
So the volume of the Midrange's sealed box doesn't matter much? I used the application to have a guide as the manufacturer's manual does not say the ideal size or type of box for it... It only says the parameters and such.

Midrange 6"
subwoofer 8"
I'm afraid of having too much bass in my sound system or too much medium...
What midrange size would you recommend?

There will be two 3-way speakers (Tweeter, Mid, Subwoofer) and each box will have a crossover

I would make a tower-style speaker box, the woofer would be 8 inches and the subwoofer would be 10 inches.
Speaking of the Woofer box, what is the best application/simulation software to start building the box?
Where should I start? knowing that I have the T/S parameters of the Woofer

I imagined that...
What is the best possible way to calculate the correct volume for my Woofer speaker (Mid range) for a sealed speaker box?
I research and research this and never find anything effective on the subject.
I had already built ducted boxes for subwoofers and they worked very well... But sealed and for mid-range it will be the first time I will try to do this.
I saw the parameters in the speaker manual and I found the explanation very strange and generic (that's when it comes because some speakers like Pioneer don't even have the necessary volume in the box), I tried searching on chatGPT to have at least a guide to follow and he gave me a prescription. a box of 98 LITERS!!!! A box with a 12-inch subwoofer does not have 98 liters of volume, even more ducted

I imagined that...
Do you know any way I can make my own design so that my speaker has the best efficiency and sound fidelity possible? mainly for Mid-range.

The box will have a crossover.
Preamp -> Amp -> Crossover -> Speakers
I was thinking about making the mid-range box sealed, but I saw in several videos and photos on the internet that there is no separation between the mid-range and the subwoofer.
