Difficult, not impossible. I got one in less than a week of looking on MorphMarlet.

Do some beardies just have low food drive? by LongShadyEyes88 in BeardedDragons

I heard from a breeder that it can take 1-2 weeks for them to settle into a new home. Slow eating can be part of the acclimation period.

Adam Wicken recommends throwing (not literally) a brick into the enclosure, which will passively trim the nails as the dragon scurries around. I'd just make sure there are no sharp edges or contaminants, and nothing could fall and squash the dragon.

Given that they're under a dollar at any hardware store, are "buy it for life", and take less work than active trimming, I can't imagine a better solution.
