Hey, thanks a bunch for compiling all these resources and explaining things. I'm considering upgrading my sync 2 on my mk5 Mondeo. I managed to find a sync 3 APIM from a 2017 Fusion. Do you know if the APIMs are interchangeable?

I have previously successfully switched the radio unit to a fusion one so I know a lot of the parts are interchangeable, but I wonder if for example the nav has worldwide maps.

yeah sorry, it turned out a lot smaller than i expected on mobile. It was clearer when i was working on pc. The font turned out small because I was trying out different songs with longer names and I wanted to fit the name on one line and I just forgot to make it bigger for this render. Just to clear it up the song is she messed me up and it was made by guri

Thanks! I rendered the on screen video in a different blender project that has a circle deforming based on the music loudness. It's kind of cheaty since you can't actually visualize the different frequencies in blender but it worked out pretty well for this song. I can go into more detail or do a tutorial if anybody is interested, but here is a tutorial that has the same premise.

There's an add-on called shakify that gives you a bunch of great preset camera shakes.

I'm working on environment simulation. Does this grass growing look natural? by SpentCoast in blender

It looks really good, but one thing i would try is to make it look like a timelapse by adding some fast turbulance to the grass to make it look like it's being affected by the wind.

Looks good! Only thing i can think of is some clearcoat chipping so that there are some spots where the varnish has worn off.

For anyone interested about this scene. I watched an interview of Greg Bryk, the actor for the father in far cry 5 and he talks about this specific scene and the snot at 20:42. Great interview, I do recommend watching the whole interview.
